"Our favourite pizzeria in Vico. It was, when the pizza was made by Caterina and cooked by her husband Giuseppe, who incidentally still works the olive groves from which the wood comes to fire the pizza oven, not to mention the olive oil used in the cooking. And it is now, that the next generation have taken over. A family run establishment, always friendly and courteous, the recently refurbished restaurant is as elegant as a pizzeria can or should be but most importantly the pizza is always delicious with thin base and tasty toppings. Of course tastiness depends on the toppings chosen and sadly nowadays there is a tendency to under season (salt) everything. However, better under than over, I say you can always add but you can't reduce salt. In any case, definitely the pizzeria to go to if pizza, or paposcie, are what you're after."

I visited Vico Del Gargano and stumbled across the local pizzeria. It is a local family run business and the service is great. Everyone is very friendly. The pizza is delicious, cooked in a rustic oven giving it a real authentic taste. My favourite is the spicy salami. I also enjoy their caciocavallo cheese it is cooked to perfection. If you ever have the pleasure of being in this beautiful little town. Take a visit, it is definitely worth the trip! View menu

What a happy and wonderful time we had dining at Pizzeria da Tony! Our family enjoyed sitting at our table and being able to watchTony make our pizzas in the wood burning pizza oven below. The children were in awe. Tony used beautiful mushrooms fresh from the Umbrian forest to make us a pizza that I will be thinking about for years to come. Pizzeria da Tony is a restaurant that embodies good cheer and fresh and tantalizing ingredients that feed your soul. Don't miss out!

la pizzeria da tony si trova nel villaggio di vico del gargano, a pochi chilometri dalla foresta umbra pugliese. per tre generazioni alla pizzeria da tony si prepara la paposcia, cioè una sorta di calzone allungato che, una volta cotto, viene aperto e poi condito, una vera delicatezza! l'ambiente della pizzeria è familiare e semplice, ideale per trascorrere una serata tranquilla con amici o parenti godendo di questa delizia del gargano. se si preferisce mangiare a casa, presso la pizzeria tony si può anche ordinare il picchetto (o la pizza) takeaway!
