"I gave this 1 star because negative zero doesn't exist. A few months ago, ordered a chicken slice, salad and chicken roll to go. Dough was bland, and sauce was bland and under seasoned. Salad dressing was like water. Took a chance again hoping it was a one off, and tonight walked in and ordered shrimp parmigiana. To say the food was tasteless is being kind. The person took my order without asking what kind of pasta I wanted. I inquired about the pasta, and he said it would be penne, and I to … – show"

I think the people in Carmel don’t know anything about good food. Went there for the first time and let me sum it up like this. The food SUCKED.

My wife and I, on a impromptu date night, went here on a whim. What a gem! The food was DELICIOUS! The atmosphere for a sit down dinner was awesome. Our server was sweet. Just come here and enjoy. Definitely coming back! View menu

They treated the Ladies Who Lunch like Royalty!!! Every dish was a winner and there were fourteen of us! Compliments to the Chef! Patrick was a Superstar server, comedian and complimenter!! He really understood his audience and what a hustler. Its hard for a kitchen to handle our numbers but everyone got a hot to order delicious dish!! High Praises all around!!!

Food is good but expensive and portions are small especially side order of pasta. I ordered chicken regina which comes with side order.I wanted rigatoni instead of penne. They said it’s an extra charge because we don’t carry to much of it. It’s not a special pasta. Absolutely ridiculous. It’s an Italian restaurant. Pasta was less than a cup. Next time if I go I’m going to order pizza. View menu

I happened to be up in Carmel, NY as my tattoo artist has a shop there. I was starving and wanted Italian. *Do NOT let the plaza type restaurant pizza shop up front fool you!! In the back behind the pizza shop is this warm cozy little spot serving up hot plates of delicious Italian cuisine!!!! My server Celia was amazing! It was packed and I see why. I started with Mozzarella Carrozza. Delicous.... fried cheese is everything!!! I ordered the Chicken Sorrentina which Celia recommended. … – show

Prato is a nice lil find tucked into small shopping center… offering some pretty solid Italian classics. The ambiance is a bit loud but not in a bad way and the decor is welcoming. Our waiter was attentive n friendly so all in all a good start. We ordered of the specials to start w/arancini being the choice app. They came out rather timely… they were sausage n broccoli rabe stuffed I believe n overall the flavor was very good though I felt they could have gone a little longer and had a mo … – show

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
