"The food is soo good! Huge portions. Got a couple cubans plus tomato salads and a soup. There was a line out the door on an early Sunday afternoon. That speaks to the quality to price ratio! I'm going back for their rice/meat/bean combo. It smelled so delicious and they offered a piece of the crunchy skin off the pork to everyone that ordered it. It's a smaller place, as is most authentic cuisine. And they spoke Spanish to the customers if they initiated. It's the real deal.. great food at a great price! As far as the atmosphere goes, they have about 8 sitting areas inside and a few outside. Just be prepared to have people standing right next to you if you're eating because it's gets busy!"

Please cut back on the salt. That's my only comment. Use to go once a week then hit salt days constantly

Food is ok, not the best but not much we can choose from in Spring Hill. Attention is not too nice either. I give them 4 stars because I want them to stay in business

Really good Cuban food, the titular rice and beans were tasty and so was the stewed chicken. Chicken soup was pretty flavorless but definitely a good sized and good tasting meal. View menu

I can’t believe I forgot to snap a picture, but believe me when I say the food here is fantastic. I had to get it to go, but I will definitely return when I'm back in town. I ordered the roasted pork plate with a side of macaroni salad, and it was a perfect 10 out of 10!

So, this is one of my favor place for to go or dine in. They offer a variaty in their menu and everything taste so good, from homemade meals to fried empanadas and stuff potatoe balls that I love. They do avocado salad and is super delicious, their smoothies are awesome and I always most have the Tres Leches a desert. They have great customer service and they talk in english and spanish.

So I’m picky about my spanish food. I ordered The spare ribs with a black bean and rice and plantains and the food quality was excellent. Ribs were tender and flavorful the “Congri” black bean rice was perfectly cooked moist and flavorful as if it was made by the best Cuban chef! I also ordered white rice with minced/ground beef and it all tasted amazing. Giving it a 10. When you cook with love it shows! View menu

I Easily compare Rice and beans in Springhill to any Tampa cuban.. I'm from Tampa raised. U won't find a Cuban better within 30 miles.. I like my odds.. I get there Coffee as well and they don't dissapoint. My 2nd favorite is a huge portion of rice, beans, and choice of meat.. All under $10 and easy to split with 2. Check them out in there area and let me know where there competition is.. I'll be the judge..

This is a tiny Cuban take out food joint on Spring Hill Dr. The vast majority of their three part meals are priced below $10. You get roast pork, chicken or a stew plus beans and rice and a cup of your choice of just beans. The food is very tasty and there is lots of it. We are seniors and one dinner feeds both of us. A top notch carry out dinner for a change of pace. We take our food to the brewery next door which has no food service and have some brews with the Cuban dinner.

"What a fantastic dining experience! From the moment we stepped from the noisy street into the delightfully quaint (and quiet! dining room our experience was top drawer. Owner Isabelle greeted us and showed us to our reserved booth. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a perfectly romantic setting, laid out in such a way to encourage intimate conversation. The dining room is small, yet it doesn't feel crowded. At our table Isabelle took the time to carefully explain the drinks (including specialty wines available. She left to give us a few moments to peruse the drink selections before sending over the pleasant hostess to ask for our drink selections. While we had only coffee and water with our meals, the other patrons there appeared to enjoy their drink selections. Soon Isabelle was back to describe Chef Jan Kinds specialty appetizers and dishes. After here vivid descriptions I wanted to try them all! We decided on a wonderfully prepared appetizer-seared scallops on a pumpkin puree; for the main fare, my wife had sautéed shrimp and I had the chef specialty rack of lamb with Dijon sauce; for dessert we had the molten chocolate lava cake. All the courses were prepared with excellence. My wife was in heaven with the molten lava cake; it was delicious! By far my favorite was the rack of lamb which was one of the best preparations of lamb I have ever eaten. The pacing of the meal was just right for us as we were there for a romantic meal celebrating our 34 year anniversary. If you are in a hurry this might not be the choice for you. However, if you are in the mood to be treated well, to be served perfectly prepared food, in a delightfully quaint atmosphere, by people who obviously love their business this is most definitely the place for you."
