"I absolutely loved my experience here. We are visiting NY from OBX VA/NC, so I didn’t expect to be able to find a good sushi place up here but this one is better than our FAVORITE sushi place back home!! The food is perfect, the sushi chef is a really cool guy. We even tried new sushi, which is something that I’m usually scared to do. The chef made something just for us and it was the best sushi I’ve ever had! We didn’t sit at the hibachi but we got to see another family get the hibachi experience and it looked so fun! Very cool people and the food couldn’t be any better. I saw someone mention the food not being the best here and I’d have to say they’re wrong! This place IS the best! Maybe sushi/hibachi just wasn’t for them if they didn’t like this place. I look forward to coming back here every year!!"

"We got to Stella’s right as they opened at 5 and double checked that we wouldn’t need a reservation. Open Table showed us multiple reservations available between 5:15 and 6, so we assumed we’d be okay walking in. The manager(? at the hostess stand was incredibly rude. She acted very put off that we had walked in. We mentioned that several reservations were available, but were told that “that doesn’t matter” as she continued to act annoyed that we had asked for a table. A server came over and spoke to her and she eventually relented and told us we could sit on the deck. There were many tables available even as we were leaving an hour later. Thankfully, after that really off-putting reception, everything else was excellent. Our server, Nathan, was amazing. We had the whipped ricotta appetizer, chicken Marsala, and the jaegerschnitzel; all of it was perfectly made and we loved our dinners. Overall, it’s a good restaurant, but the experience was definitely dampened by the manager(? who greeted us. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"Ordered pizza on the slice app. Restaurant entered my phone number and used their database for delivery address instead of using the address I put in the order. They then sent me a plain cheese pizza with none of the 4 toppings I ordered. The delivery guy showed me his receipt from the restaurant with the wrong delivery address on it. We called them and they said they got a new tablet they didn’t know how to use. They redelivered the correct pizza 1.5 hours after the initial order, leaving me no time to eat based on my schedule. To add insult, they sent a 10% off my next order coupon as an apology. I spent $40 to have a 4 topping 18” pizza delivered and the entire experience was terrible. Never again. As far as food quality, the dough/crust was tough and chewy and the toppings were minimal. 2 pieces of pepperoni per slice, extra cheese wasn’t noticeable, chorizo was one chunk per slice. Very cheap with topping. Pizza sucked."

"I had a group of 16 20, which became a group of 24. A mix up of groups, (both named Jeff, and both bowling groups) caused a bit of confusion, but only briefly. The front desk and GM snapped to attention, after a brief reconnoiter, set up for us quickly in another room. Amazing staff, amazing general manager we were super impressed. A couple minutes extra wait. Ordering and paying was done with multiple checks (always a pain for wait staff), but our two employees took it in stride, with joyful attitudes, smiles on their faces, with alacrity and professionalism. Great service with our cake and candles delivery, with forks and small plates. I made the birthday girl her favorite cake, and we all passed, for a quick distribution. Guests mentioned their food was tasty and delicious, with substantial portions. I have never had a group reservation and service go better. Perfect evening. I would HIGHLY recommend the Lakewood OG for a big group. Amazing service. Thank you to all of you."

"It had been a while since I visited the Good Ole Steener's. After noticing the place is consistently rockin by 1:30 p.m. I was convinced it was time for a visit. This past fall I popped in on the Sunday Evening the Bills almost beat the Tom Brady the BUCS. There was maybe 10 customers there and i immediately felt at home. Bill's game was on and nobody minded my screaming and shouting for the Bills. The waitress was a sweetheart and Bartender Kerri was great. Ordered mama Steen's chicken Pecan Salad and the flavor balance was amazing. The salad was huge and the flavors contrasted perfectly. For sure 2 full meals in that salad if you have any self discipline for only $14.99. 4 star experience would be 5 stars with a Bills W."
