"Food has been bland lately. Tonight we ordered three meals and all three were very bland. Not sure what changed but I hope they can figure it out. It's almost like everything is low sodium or something. I tried calling to let them know and someone I haven't dealt with before didn't seem to believe me, told me nobody else has complained, and questioned how long it had been since I ate there. We've been eating there every week since 2015. I wasn't going to change my original review but it was an odd impersonal response. I wasn't seeking a refund, just letting them know the food was bland so they could look into it. I see another reviewer recently had the same bland food experience as us so I'm not alone. This is one of our favorite restaurants and we want it to stay excellent."

"My friend went to this restaurant with some co-workers last night, and now her face is swollen! She clearly explained her coconut allergy, and now she can't even open her eye! I definitely won't be returning, especially since they couldn't follow instructions regarding an allergy. Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1."

"I went to the restaurant at 7:24pm with my oldest son. We were directed to a table but no one gave us menus. Despite making eye contact with two waitresses and a waiter, we were ignored and left waiting without water or a proper greeting. At 7:41pm, we decided to leave when another customer tried to apologize for the poor service and said they would try to get someone's attention. I felt so disrespected by this point that I declined the offer of help. It was a nice gesture from the other customer, but it should have come from the staff."

"I've ordered from this place about five times. I do remember this is the third order that I've gotten from them that nothing was right. My bad. French fries Stone Cold and hard as a brick unable edible. I stood there waiting for my order to be finished. My order was finished but had not been wrapped up. A young woman behind the counter was debating with the young man at the register about who was going to wrap the order. She had already started wrapping the order when she told him to come over and do it which finally got done and my cold fries were dumped in the bag. I got two large drinks sweet tea. Somebody had definitely put unsweetened tea in the sweet tea dispenser. I didn't have time to wait for them to re-fix anything I was on a timeline. The nonsense that was going on behind the counter was like romper room. It just seemed like a bunch of unruly kids not that they were rude playing around behind the counter. I think when I called back I talked to who was the manager on duty and I'm pretty sure she was a young woman who was rapping the food to begin with debating with the young man at the register about him doing it. The service was lackluster the food was lackluster the hamburgers weren't even right. There was no consistency to fixing the burgers both burgers had lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cheese with mayonnaise. One Burger had no mayonnaise a half a tomato and a huge freaking piece of lettuce and the motherload of onions dumped on it. The other Burger which was a double had four or five little pieces of chopped onion. One little teeny piece of lettuce and three pickles mayonnaise was nowhere to be found. It was just disgraceful if I'd had time to go back the time I would have asked them to remake the order. My mistake for going back but I won't make that mistake again. We ended up going to pick up food at another restaurant."

"One of the coolest bars we have ever experienced. We were in town for my nieces baptism and we went looking for the movie scene type experience of brothers/wives/mothers all sitting around a pub laughing and drinking. And we found it!!! Great drinks, affordable prices, amazing bartenders, and an incredible owner who also made us feel welcome. I can truly say it was a great experience and if I ever get transferred to Charlotte, Mint Hill will be where we live to have The Hill as my weekly stomping ground!!!"
