"First time going to Sai's and definitely not the last. The location is pretty good, still in FiDi, fairly close to Embarcadero Bart station .5 mile). I got the 5 spice roasted chicken over rice and that was delicious. Just the right amount of food as well. My friend got the chicken curry and liked it as well. They are short staffed, but we didn't have to wait long at all. Overall, very good experience for a unassuming little restaurant."

Food was delicious! Don't let the ambiance fool you. I definitely recommend this place for some authentic Vietnamese Pho.

Small downtown Viet restaurant with authentic food! Their broken rice with grilled meat was just like the one I had back in Vietnam. There were plenty of meat too! Wish I lived near the area so I could try more dishes from them. Def recommend!

I've eaten their Grilled Pork Banh Mi here and ordered it for delivery, multiple times. Delicious! The pork is tasty. The paté gives it such an authentic flavour. The bread has a great crunch. Don't let the simple exterior of the restaurant fool you, the food is authentic and tastes great. View menu

Arguably the best Vietnamese food in sf. Came from Texas for vacation to San Francisco for a week and managed to come here twice since it was so good. The service was amazing and made the dine in experience that much better. Unfortunately we don't live here but if I did I'd find myself in this restaurant at least once a week. MUST TRY ANY OF THE CLAY POTS(specifically the cat fish one)

Delicious food at reasonable prices and good portions. Quick and polite service, would definitely come back to try out some more food! We had the ban xeo and the beef plate and there was plenty of food for leftover to take home. The beef was a little dry but using the sauce helped. The pork was moist and juicy, they also give you fried prawns and imperial rolls which is plenty of food.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
