We make it a point to eat here every time we stay at the hotel. It’s an exceptional dining spot with delicious food, and the service is always top-notch.

So, if you find yourself at Alyeska or in the area and have a sushi craving, enjoying a night in this Nagel-inspired atmosphere is definitely worth it. Just don’t forget to wear your coolest Pet Shop Boys T-shirt!

Without a doubt, this is the best sushi restaurant in all of Alaska! It’s the only place I’ve found that serves fresh Alaskan salmon in a variety of styles. As always, the service was excellent and the food was amazing. My husband and I enjoy sitting at the sushi bar, where we can observe the chefs in action. This time, Johnny, the chef right in front of us, was exceptionally helpful in suggesting different dishes to try. Every recommendation he made was delicious. Sakura continues to be one of our favorite places to eat in Girdwood.

I had a wonderful dining experience at the resort restaurant after staying at the Alyeska Hotel following our cruise in Denali. After a long day of travel, we were looking for a convenient place to eat, and we were welcomed warmly by Reese, who helped us throughout our meal. Jackie was also fantastic—very friendly and informative about the menu and the preparation of each dish. They even had the bar create a special hot toddy for my partner! The food was delicious, fresh, and expertly crafted. You really can't go wrong dining here while staying at the hotel.

I have been trying to dine at Sakura for almost three years, but my schedule never aligned with their operating hours. During my most recent visit to Alyeska, I finally had the opportunity to eat there, and it was absolutely worth the wait! The atmosphere was charming, and the service was exceptional. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and even recommended a special dish for our three-year-old that wasn't on the menu.
