"Wow, this food is amazing! It's served hot, generous portions, and absolutely delicious. You can tell it's a popular spot because of the busy lunch crowd. It's set up like one of those buffets where they serve you. I asked, 'How does this work? Is it a two-meat combo or something?' The staff member replied, 'Just choose whatever you want, and we’ll fill it up for you.' And they really did fill it up—I could barely close the container! I had the dirty rice, pinto beans, and what I think was stewed goat. It was incredible! The flavor was intense, the beans were creamy, and the meat was so tender it just fell off the bone, with plenty of it to enjoy. With a generous drizzle of their hot sauce, it was pure bliss. I got three meals out of it, by the way. I don’t remember the exact price, but it was probably around $12. I'll definitely be finding reasons to come back to this place!"

Our favorite spot for Dominican food! The seasoning is perfect—not too much, not too little. Plus, it’s affordable.

The food was outstanding, but unfortunately, the restaurant lacked air conditioning, and it was a particularly hot day.

The food is incredible, the staff is fantastic, and they provide free meals to the community during the last hour before closing every day. If you're looking to support a small business, this is the spot. They truly give back to the community, and their service is exceptional.

This restaurant is one of my favorite spots for tasty food at reasonable prices. The staff is welcoming and helpful, and the seating area is cozy. I was really impressed to discover that they donate leftover food to homeless individuals at the end of the day, which shows their dedication to supporting the community. The owners and staff are genuinely wonderful, so I highly recommend visiting to enjoy their food.

I’ve known Sazon Perez since the early days of my life living in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in the 1980s. It all started when the father began selling simple Hispanic and Dominican breakfasts. Mr. Marino Perez had a vision and gradually expanded the menu, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes. Before he passed away, he made sure his two sons would continue running the restaurant with the same dedication, leaving behind a legacy of kindness. They frequently donate leftover meals to those in need at closing time. I recently ate there with my wife, and she was thrilled with how warmly they served everyone in line. God bless this place and the generosity of Mr. Perez!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
