"Nice place to eat Update Today we parked in front of this restaurant to wait for my kids learning at Kumon next to as usual for nearly 2 years. The only one parking policy is ?Customer Parking Only?. Then a big guy from this restaurant brought 3 yellow boards which one is put in front of my parked car. After about 10 minutes he came and told me that ?you have 5 minutes to park here after that I call the police?. Later I saw a lady from this restaurant was calling somebody. Perhaps they would bark around the trees for some scary cats. Actually I am now really scare to come to this restaurant. I get back 3 stars and left only one for this restaurant because of their rudeness and lacking of knowledge."

Delicious no nonsense Mexican joint. Sweetest staff with good home cooked flavor food. Salsa is bomb! I recommend the lengua!

Food is really good. There's a great selection from breakfast, Mexican, seafood and teriyaki bowl. We know the owner and he's a really nice guy.

Their pozole is fire. That's all I really get here because it's so good, but I've been told that the enchiladas are bomb too. The hot sauce for the pozole is amazing. The red salsa is great. The green salsa is subpar. View menu

I really enjoy coming here, clean, fast and flavorful food. From tacos to shrimp plates, it's all good. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. The dinner layout needs an upgrade but you can always watch good soccer on their TV's. Enjoy!

I love the hard shell tacos. The shell is so light and crispy. You have several choices for meat. I like the carne asada. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. They also have futbol playing most of the time. Check out the pictures on Googlemaps that people have posted. All of the food looks amazing!

I love the hard taco shells—they’re light and crispy. There are several meat options to choose from, and I especially enjoy the Carne Asada. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They often have soccer games playing as well. Be sure to check out the photos posted by customers on Google Maps—the food looks fantastic! View menu

When I started coming here, it was great. The more I go, the worse it gets and I go for the Pozole at least once a week. I always ask for additional veggies and they give me less than what they would give if I had not asked. Later they always forget either the lime, or the hot sauce, or the chips, or everything together. Today is the last straw. I asked for extra pages and I got less. They had no big drinking cups for the Horchata, and there was a METAL shard i bit in my pozole. Time to look for another restorer.

"We visited the Los Alamitos location this trip for late lunch, early dinner. My husband got an All American Beach Melt. It was a full pound cheeseburger on grilled Parmesan Sour Dough. He was delightfully overwhelmed! I decided to try the prime rib dinner because the prime rib dip is out of this world! I was extremely disappointed! The meat was cold and flavorless. The aujus again had no flavor. The creamy horseradish could have been sour cream, and it has absolutely no flavor at all, no zing. Our waitress was sweet but disappointing. All of our food came to the table at the same time. Our appetizer actually arrived after our entree plates. Our waitress did a vanishing act. She did not once return to the table. Our water and tea cups sat empty throughout our meal. Other servers took care of the tables to our right, and to our left, we remained completely ignored. After finishing our meals, we sat for about 15 20 minutes with my husband, trying to get anyone to pay attention to even our empty glasses. Finally, it appeared to be someone in management who asked if we were waiting for boxes. My husband told her we 'd like a check AND boxes so we can leave. She brought our check and 3 boxes, no questions or comments. My husband paid in cash, and she said, I 'll see you next time. He commented. There won 't be a next time. We enjoy the Foothill Ranch location, a much friendlier environment. Today 's lesson learned is that it was not a good idea to order steak at a sandwich shop."

"Our first visit to the restaurant last night came highly recommended, thanks to a friend's glowing review of their vegan menu. We were pretty excited and ordered two vegan meatball subs. The trouble began when we waited for nearly 25 minutes after placing our order. Our server, a guy named Ryan (I think), came over and told us they were all out of vegan meatballs. Naturally, we asked why it took so long for them to figure this out, which seemed to fluster poor Ryan a bit. However, he was polite throughout the conversation. We decided to switch our order to one regular meatball sub and a vegan eggplant sub, thinking all was well. But, surprise, surprise, Ryan returned a few minutes later to tell us they were also out of eggplant. At this point, we had been waiting for almost 40 minutes with no food in sight, so we asked for the check to pay for the soda my husband had been nursing. Here's why the whole experience left a sour taste in our mouths: 1. Why in the world didn't the waitstaff know about these shortages in advance? It seems like basic communication within the restaurant was seriously lacking. Customers shouldn't be left hanging, wondering if they'll actually get what they ordered. 2. It's kind of baffling that Ryan was left to break the bad news not just once, but twice. You'd think the manager, who we saw chatting with other diners just a few feet away, would have taken the initiative to come over and speak to us directly. 3. I was made to feel like I should be really grateful they decided not to charge us for the Diet Coke my husband drank. Overall it was a terrible experience and no effort was made to rectify what happened. I obviously cannot comment on the food since we never recieved any. As for customer service...HORRIBLE!"
