"We started with the orange chicken, which featured pieces of orange peel in the sauce and was fresh and tender—absolutely delicious. The fried rice stood out, looking and tasting fluffy and flavorful, unlike the usual fare. The steamed chicken and broccoli were also fantastic, especially with the choice of sauces; I highly recommend the Szechuan sauce. My only wish is that the portion of steamed chicken could be a bit larger. The wonton soup here is the best I’ve ever had. My only complaint is that I wanted extra noodles, but they don’t offer that option. However, the serving size is generous; I just happen to really love noodles. If you haven't tried this place yet and are accustomed to mediocre Chinese takeout, you should definitely give it a chance. The prices are reasonable, and you get a good amount of food for what you pay."

The shrimp lo mein was excellent, especially the noodles! The flavor of the General Tso's chicken was also great, but I wasn't impressed with the quality of the chicken itself. They were quite busy, so I might give it another try.

With absolutely no expectations—having been let down far too often by Chinese takeout in Central Florida—I was pleasantly surprised by the food at Shanghai. We ordered the standard dishes that are commonly found at most takeout places.

This used to be my go-to restaurant, but I was really disappointed the last time I ordered. The fried rice was dry, the chicken wings were hard and overly crispy, the egg rolls weren't very good, and the lo mein lacked flavor. I definitely won't be coming back here.
