"We were so excited to try this restaurant after reading the reviews. We went on a Wednesday evening at 7:00 and we’re seated immediately. There was a short wait before we were able to order with apologies for the wait. No problem. However the restaurant emptied out and we never saw our food for another hour! Bratwurst, kraut and hot German potato salad and a black bean burger and fries. The brat was way over cooked and the German potato salad was a joke. It was large pieces of potato fried on the grill with chopped onion and very small pieces of very tough bacon. My husband liked the bean burger and it was a good size but t the fries were like limp, greasy noodles. While waiting for the food, no one came by to see if we wanted anything. It’s good that things are sourced locally, but the execution was not up to par. I suggest the chef learn what hot German potato salad is or take it off the menu."

"Was on my way to Durango. This was the worst food ever. The beans were runny and watery.. yuc. My beef enchiladas were awful they were so small and very bland, with no spices.The beef was ground to extremely tiny pieces. And it was very watery too. The rice was so dry. This whole meal was bland.. Terrible."

"We’re visiting from Wisconsin and made a stop in Cortez, Colorado, on our way to Mesa Verde. We enjoyed several dinners and drinks here. The bartenders were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We had some great conversations and had a fantastic time! The food not only looked amazing but also tasted even better! I ordered the Bacon Cheddar Burger with Pup Fries, and it was the best burger I’ve had in a long time! The fries were fantastic too. There was a wide variety of options on the menu, and I would definitely plan a trip to Cortez just to eat here again!"
