What happened to Star Ginger? Used to love this place. Haven’t been there for awhile so looked forward to our usual for New Year’s takeout. Chicken spring rolls were still very good but Singapore Noodle dish was terribly disappointing. No flavor at all! Terrible.

Exotic great review food. Vegetarian friendly or sub a different protein in the various ducks. I'm a big carnivore and a butcher I'm a little sneaky. All you said, I was very happy with the quality and the portion ratio of protein to veggies. Try the Korean BBQ and jungle chicken. Next time you will find yourself hanging with a large crew order on the star for a smorgasbord of delicious tidbits and joy.

The food was decent overall. The spring rolls were quite delicious. However, the lighting was odd, and they didn't clear the tables, leaving me surrounded by dirty dishes. The staff were very friendly, but the restaurant felt a bit chilly. It appeared that most orders were placed through Grubhub, as many diners opted for takeout. I also noted that many items on the menu are priced between $10 and $20. The curry was decent, but I’ve had much better at similar price points, sometimes even for less. I’m surprised it’s not better, especially considering the menu is small, which I think is a smart move. I appreciate that they don’t use MSG and source ingredients from local farms, trying to buy organic meat whenever possible. Overall, I feel indifferent about the experience. I’m curious to see if there’s a hidden gem here. I’d like to rate it higher, but I still need to be convinced.

The appetizers and main courses were delicious, but the dessert—a chocolate mousse—was served frozen solid. Unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing. Our server seemed unfamiliar with the menu and the specials, which forced me to check the pictures in the window to get a description. We had to ask for our dessert three times, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy; there were only four tables occupied with two servers on duty. I used to love this place, but not anymore. I went there yesterday to treat myself to lunch. There was no air conditioning on a 98 degree day. The person who took my order didn't take any notice that I ordered a Thai iced coffee (which apparently isn't on the menu). Instead I received NO drink, not even the water I had asked for. I ordered a chicken Banh Mi sandwich, which came with hardly any chicken. And when it was delivered to my table, the server just threw it down without any comment, didn't give me a napkin or utensils, and didn't ask me if there was anything else I needed (another patron actually gave me napkins so I could start to eat my sandwich).
