"This was such a fantastic place to try Nigerian/West African food for the first time! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu and the food was delicious. My friend and I, to quote the staff, jumped in the deep end for neverhaving tried Nigerian food by ordering stews with fufu so if you 're not super into trying new things and haven 't had thiscuisine before, I 'd say try something like the jollof rice. If you do like trying new things, however, totally go for the ewedustew with fufu (the green and red dish with chicken) and regardless, you should check this place out! Also, just to note, therestaurant does an automatic gratuity of 20% to split between kitchen and servers to make sure everyone 's being paid fairly."

Good service. Food was generally good. The plantain was dry but that gizzards and jollof were good.

The restaurant is nice and quaint. The staff was courteous. I really enjoyed the greens and the sorrel. Just be prepared to pay a service fee and gratuity is automatically charged. View menu

Definitely try this restaurant! Food tastes great, portions are good, and staff is friendly. We had 2 of the stews, fufu, Jollof rice, plantains, spicy wings, and meat pies. If you never had Nigerian food you should give it a try.

The goat pepper soup with onions was absolutely amazing! The spice level was perfectly intense, and the flavor was outstanding. The goat meat was cooked to perfection, and the seasoning was spot on. I can't wait to go back and sample more dishes!

I visited Boston to see a friend, who mentioned a Nigerian restaurant in the area. On my last day there, we decided to check it out and sample the food. I ordered the okra soup with goat meat, and opted for the spiciest version—it was incredibly flavorful and just the way I like it. They served a generous portion of meat, and our server was really sweet and attentive. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic Nigerian cuisine! View menu

We had an amazing dining experience at Suya Restaurant, where the food was fantastic, spicy, and full of flavor. We loved the peanut stew, okra stew, spinach greens, samosas, black-eyed beans, and jollof rice. We also tried two types of fufu: pounded yam and cassava. I strongly recommend all of these dishes, especially pairing the peanut stew with fufu. We opted for the “fire” level of spiciness, and they truly delivered—extremely spicy! The menu offers a great selection of vegetarian options, all of which were excellent. We will definitely be returning!

Listen, I’ve spent time in Houston, Dallas, DC, New York and Atlanta so I’ve been to many Nigerian restaurants. Suya Joint is hands down the best Nigerian restaurant in the U.S. The service is great (thank you PamPam and Tameka! Amazingpeople! ….what’s even better is the food. Ahhh Olorun Oba o…you get your money’s worth. The serving size is simplyamazing. They are not stingy with the meat, soup or pounded yam. Look I’m writing the review while still at the restaurant. That’s how good this place is. If you don’t believe me, try it yourself. I can’t wait to come back!
