"We visit the place w/kids looking for a relax restaurant to grab something quick an easy. We visited with 3 kids from 3 to 7 The service was really poor. Even that we speak Spanish we have to ask for the server several times and ask for clear instructions about the food and she answered not vey politely. The food came quickly but we had several surprises like the rice was spicy for the kids. The guacamole its not worthy the price Tacos al pastor nothing special Carnitas were ok Taco birria nothing special and the consome not recommend Horcha, piña and sandia were ok. I was expecting more, specially because of previous reviews. I hope this review help other families not having the same experience"

Don't miss out on the avocado tostada. It's phenomenal! Everything here is delicious and beautifully presented!

La Bisteca was rather bland, and there was no salsa served on the side as shown in the picture, which I found misleading.

The avocado tostada is incredible and holds up well for takeout. We order it frequently, and it’s always consistently delicious. It’s our favorite choice!

It's good! Pretty average tacos, good aguas frescas and good chips and guac. Nothing crazy novel, a little pricey for the quality but over all not a bad joint if you're looking for accessible Mexican food. View menu

Te place is lovely but the tacos and as importantly salsas are disappointing. The steak quesadilla being one of those dishes that are dry and tasteless. The pastor meat dry and on the cold side. The salsas are not interesting abd don’t have a humph and def on the pricey side. Not even the michelada is good

The interior is colorful and vibrant. It is actually quite spacious for a New York City restaurant. The food is average. For the the appetizer, the corn esquites was fresh and crisp but the serving was small. Of the 3 tacos tried (al pastor, carnitas, pollo yucateca), the yucateca was the most flavorful probably because it was marinated. The others were slightly bland.

All the servers were nice. The food was top notch. The best tacos I’ve had in New York. They are very authentic. Like the ones in Mexico City. Try their Gobernador tacos. You have to ask the servers to come over and take your order. The good thing is that they are all happy and get along so you feel happy being there. You’ll love it. Don’t miss this taste of Mexico in NYC. View menu

Superb food, hits all the taste buds and right spots every time. Very hearty and filling. The tostada has layers of guacamole, black beans, salsa, cheese, pickled onions and cilantro. The sweet potato tacos are also layered with beans and then topped up with cheese. They're generous with their fillings love it.And their hot sauces are to die for.I visited their Fidi location a few weeks back and it was equally good.

Good, family friendly taqueria on the Upper West Side. Tacos are decent sized and flavorful. Our favorite is the beef birria that come as 2 with their own hot dipping sauce. The drinks are fun and tasty. The prices seem reasonable for individual items, and then the check comes and you're like how'd it get that high? ?? Their corn comes in a cup rather than on the cob tasty but I much prefer on the cob with the Mexican cheese. I didn't see much for someone trying to go low carb or salad based.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
