"The restaurant’s interior was nice but not overly fancy, creating a comfortable atmosphere. We were quickly greeted by an older lady who turned out to be an excellent waitress—I should have tipped her more. Kevin suggested we start with a pretzel, and I went with the all-day breakfast for $10. Kevin chose the Fried Ham Sammie, which I might consider on my next visit, along with a Bison Burger (a half-pound burger for $14). I'm not a big beer drinker, but since Kevin is, I let him pick a beer for me. He chose a Fleur de Wheat, which was surprisingly good. I only had one, but I could have easily enjoyed a couple more if I hadn’t been driving. The pretzel was fantastic! It cost $7, which felt a bit pricey, but it came with Shiner Bock mustard and Blanco queso for dipping. The queso definitely won in that pairing. After sharing a few stories with Kevin, our main dishes arrived. I ordered sunny-side-up eggs, but got one egg that was overcooked—the yolk wasn’t runny at all. The Texas toast was burned, but it wasn't too bad. The egg was served over grits with sausage, which was decent. However, I would have preferred more sausage and less grits. Overall, I was not very impressed with that dish; I've had better at places like Cast Iron Grill and Cracker Barrel. Kevin’s Fried Ham sandwich, on the other hand, looked impressive. We sat at a table, and right behind Kevin were two fit, attractive middle-aged women. I mention this because I can't help but wonder if they overheard some of Kevin's stories—he has a knack for sharing the most intriguing tales I've ever heard in person. He told stories about brothels in Germany and Amsterdam, personal female servants he had in Malaysia, and even his experiences with psychedelic mushrooms and other mind-altering substances. If Kevin ever wrote a book, I would be first in line to read it; he could also make a great podcast host! Overall, I had a really good time, primarily due to the company rather than the food. After all, it was just lunch—a meal I rarely have—and $26 is a bit pricey for my wallet. I could have a couple of dinners at Anna’s for that amount, and they even come with hugs! This is an official review. God bless Dirt City, and God bless the Texas Tech baseball team for keeping me entertained and my father alive."

I might be the only person in the planet who doesn't like the term GastroPub It's just a fancy name for bar food.

Long time favorite place in Lubbock. Very nice people who work here and have always treated us well. They have stuck it out to give Lubbock something that we are lacking and I am glad to see it catching on more. I'm sure people may sometimes have a bad experience, but I do think the staff here is more thoughtful than most anywhere in town.

Don't even get me started on how fabulous the beers and cocktails are! Oh my goodness you can't top them! And I love how they change up with the seasons! Genius!!!! You cannot order anything that isn't delicious here. I hate grits normally but they make grits incredible, best flavor ever! The pot pie was to die for, the pizzas are perfect! LOVE this place! I cannot get enough of this place! From brunch to dinner, every dish is amazing and I 've had about 15 different things. It 's seriously a breath of fresh air from all the boring chain restaurants to the overly abundant local 'diners. ' The prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of food and even if there is a line out the door they get people seated quickly. I highly recommend!

Twice Sunday Brunch in a row Absolutely perfect.. Sunday Brunch is Wonderful. We 've tried the Fried Pork with eggs with Awesome cream gravy. Our favorite is the Jalapeno Cheddar Grits. 'What 's a Grit? ' you ask? Freak 'n Amazing! The French Toast is crispy on outside, soft inside. How do they do that? The Breakfast Pizza was Delish and Huge! The crust is homemade and awesome! <br/ Every time my husband and I visit for lunch, brunch or even dinner, we are never disappointed. Sometimes the wait staff forgets something here &there. Sometimes one of Managers is a bit of a Smart Ass. The Food outweighs it all.<br/ A. [hidden link]

I was delighted to discover this restaurant during a long drive. It was a vibrant place on a Friday night, filled with energy. There were TVs everywhere for those who enjoy watching sports. The beer selection was impressive, and the menu featured a wide array of intriguing options suitable for both kids and adults. I ordered the winter squash and farro risotto with roasted chicken and brown butter, which was delicious. However, I felt that it would have benefited from a side salad or something similar, as it was quite lonely on the plate. The kids enjoyed pizza, grilled cheese, and fries, all of which were tasty. The service was a bit slow, but the prices were very reasonable. Overall, I had... View menu

The Crafthouse is located in an unpretentious strip mall on 34th near to Texas Tech. My visit last evening with colleagues was predicated upon reading other Yelp reviews, which piqued my interest. I definitely enjoyed the dining experience. I ordered their grilled chicken salad with a side of Swiss chard. The salad was scrumptious although the side was small and I feel could have been larger based upon the cost of 5.00. One of my colleagues ordered a pizza that she hardly touched because it had way too much cheese. The Crafthouse has a decent offering of wine and beer on their menu and the prices are reasonable. My party had mixed reviews of their respective meals yet by and large the consen...

I've been to Crafthouse a few times since they stopped being Home Cafe. If I were writing about Home Cafe I would be giving it a 5 star review hands down. The issue I have the Crafthouse is that the food is just not very consistent. I've ordered things are truly out of park great, but then I've ordered other things that are not so great.<br/ <br/ My most recent visit I ordered the fish sticks with fries and shared chips and queso with my dinner friend. The queso was really good, but when it was served it already formed a crust of hard cheese on the top. It made me wonder how long it had been sitting before it got to our table. My fish sticks were really three pieces of fried cod. It was brea...
