"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I spent $30 on a meal that barely seemed enough for one person. The beans they provided were more like bean juice than actual beans. When I called to express my disappointment, they didn't even apologize; instead, they just told me to return the food for a refund. It’s frustrating because it’s not just about the money—it’s about how they treat their customers. They should recognize that their business exists because of the customers spending their money there. It’s a shame to see such poor customer service."

The food is outstanding and the prices are fair. However, I think they could improve by adding a few more options to the menu.

The food was overpriced, and both the rice and beans were bland, as was the fish. It used to be much better; they must have changed chefs.

Wow! I recently moved to New Jersey from Texas, and this place offers amazing, authentic, and flavorful food. The chilaquiles are exceptional. The woman in the kitchen is always very helpful and polite. View menu

Absolutely, their food is incredibly delicious! I enjoyed it so much that I often piled a bit of everything on my plate. Yum! However, I was disappointed because I ordered fried plantains, but instead received fried toadstools that were hard and dry. Unfortunately, that felt like a waste of money.

"Fantastic neighborhood gem. Food was flavorful, cozy, inviting, and fun. Not fussy or arrogant, but cooked with love, execution, and straight from the heart. My favorite was the Burrata dish, a cold cheese dish with the seductively sumptuous balsamic glaze and the best thinsliced prosciutto I ever had thankfully not too salty as it was packed with flavor. The bread was fantastic for mopping up the rich tomato based seafood app.My wife and I loved the seafood spaghetti dish, although the dark brown think buckwheat spaghetti surprised us at first. The rich white wine broth and clams were fantastic, but the noodles were perplexing and intriguing and fantastic!. The whole wheat made it seem like it might be tough but it was smooth and chewy, while still hearty. And yet it almost felt too soft and about melt, although there was a firm elasticity to it! The scallops risotto was rich and decadent. Temp was good. The service was good, the outdoor ambience was wonderful, the napkin's bluegray hue resonated with my wife, and the plates were gorgeous.Overall, it was excellent and worthy of going back and recommending to friends and family. The meal may not have been technically flawless the delicious octopus could stand to be grilled or cooked a tad longer, but it was still perfectly authentic, heartfelt, and admirably executed. It straddled the fine line between elevatedelegant and homey. It accomplished what it set out to do and delivered on what one would expect! We live outside the city, so we won't be able to visit often, which may be good, because this is such a fine neighborhood establishment—if I lived nearby, I'd definitely be in danger of blowing my monthly dining budget"
