The Rub -b-que And Catering

So this use to be my favorite place. Still great bbq. But some of the server's got attitude's. good food just need a touch up on the friendlier side

our dealer's box very often from here, mike the owner is very accommodating. they deliver on time for our events. my favorite is the hath and the smoked is in it. it was so good that I had to buy 4 extra pounds to get home. great food, great service

You know it’s good as soon as you walk in and smell that rich smoky aroma that slaps you in the face! It’s authentic BBQ here. The bowls are great. I had sausage and chicken bowl with red and green peppers, potatoes and fried potatoes strings. The sweet tea is goood also! View menu

The Rub is a restaurant we visit every time we have a football game in Olathe. The food is fantastic, and the service is quick. The mac and cheese bowl is a favorite, along with the maisbrot. Everything we've tried there has been great. It's definitely a place worth visiting!

Walked in excited. Smelled original had a good vibe. Ordered the Brisket and Brisket Burnt Ends. Brisket was cut sandwich thin(like Arbys). I would have preferred an even pencil thickness cut, even if it was just one slice. Burnt ends needed more love. There sauce is fantastic.

The Rub catered our wedding at Weston Red Barn Farm and really blew us away! They were so pleasant to work with, quick to respond and definitely had all the ropes down the day of the wedding. All of our guests raved about the food, and they even helped clean up and checked in on guests throughout dinner. Wonderful experience all around! View menu

I went for lunch right when they opened at 11am. I got the burnt end burrito, with fries, and an iced tea. The burrito was huge, and other than one burnt end that had more fat than I like, it was great. They gave me a mountain of fries, which I didn't finish.Service was fast and friendly. Overall a great experience. I will definitely go back.

My wife and I had lunch at this restaurant. I ordered the burnt ends and the brisket basket. Unfortunately, the burnt ends were old, dry, and tough. I had to chew them for ages before I finally gave up. It was terrible. The brisket was dry as well, but not quite as bad as the burnt ends. On a positive note, the fries and coleslaw were good. However, this barbecue is nowhere near the quality you'd find in Kansas City.

Tried their restaurant in Olathe a loooong time ago, don't remember much other than it was a fast-casual concept similar to Chipotle or now Burnt Ends in Overland Park for BBQ. This review is for their food truck, which we patronized at the Meadowbrook Park Festival yesterday. Burnt Ends Sandwiches $12 had a generous serving of chunky burnt ends on a good but not great bun (we ate mostly the burnt ends anyway). Good flavor and texture. Since it was a food truck they offered bags of chips and canned sodas for simplicity. Very good value for meal received, would definitely hit up this truck again should we stumble upon it. View menu
