"What a find! I will be back. Great selection and prices. I went in for just an iced coffee and left with pesto, pasta, Italian spice mix and wine. The coffee was delicious, the staff sweet as can be and the range of products and great prices is nothing short of mindblowing particularly in the small space. This isn't a giant grocery store by the way. Has a very cozy neighborhood feel. Even the other patrons are friendly- you get the feeling they are regulars. Well worth the drive in from counties outside of the city."

This place is amazing!!! Matt is so friendly and helpful. The selection is never ending. My favorite so far is the eggplant parmigiana sandwich.

The best Italian deli in Maryland! My wife and I have been going there for 35 years and love the place and the staff. We remember when the current owner was a boy who could barely see over the counter. Best prices quality and selection. View menu

We have been going here for a few years now and stocking up our freezer on the outstanding meatballs, sausage bites and many other special items that they make. The wide range of sauce is fantastic to go with all the many kinds of pasta. Place is like 100 years old but everything is so freakin fresh!

This is the place to go for Italian food and the ingredients to cook for yourself. Everyone is friendly and the products are fresh and good quality as well. I recommend this place for an authentic Sicilian deli experience. They've been here since 1900. I mean come on this place is not only historic but its a part of the culture here in Baltimore.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
