"First time visiting this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. We were not aware that we had to order at the counter, but we sat down in a booth instead. We had called ahead to see if the chef we knew from Trents was there, and he was - his name is Cam! Cam cooked our seafood perfectly to our liking - lightly browned and not overcooked. The portions were generous, especially the delicious green beans. This was the best seafood we have had in Jacksonville! Our waitress, Kayla, was attentive and explained everything to us. She even brought out menus and had Cam come out to greet us. She kindly informed us that we were supposed to order at the counter, but since I have difficulty walking, she said she would take care of us anytime we came in. Overall, a great place with great people. It's worth the drive from Westside Jax or anywhere else in Jacksonville! There is a huge parking lot available as well."

"Great home town breakfast spot. Never been a huge fan of the lunch/dinner but it's not bad, I just prefer the breakfast. The Saturday morning breakfast buffet is the greatest. Most of the breakfast staples, and lots of them! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Dicks wings is a family favorite as that's where my husband and I first met, years ago. We stumbled upon this location while visiting a friend and had to go eat there. This location wasn't too busy but definitely appeared to be understaffed. The waitress was nice and seemed to be the only one working the whole front of the house. So, we didn't fret much when a couple of things were forgotten or slow to be refilled. The food, however, took over an hour to prepare. We anticipated being there for about an hour total with how quickly we ordered, but we ended up being there a little over 2 hours. The main issues were how many items weren't currently available or out of stock, then the length of time for our food to be prepared. We stayed, ate and paid with no complaints but definitely feel as though they need some help to bring this location up to par with what we are used to at others."

"First the waitress was horrible, she was rude from the moment we came in until we left. She was older with glasses. She had a 2-3 year old kid walking around. The toddler brought us menus and was too precious but that’s all the lady was nice to. I seen her laughing and kissing what seem to be her grandbaby so thought maybe she was overloaded when we first walked in. Nope. Everyone left and she was still so rude. Second, the salsa tasted like it was store bought out of a jar, there’s no way it’s homemade. Maybe they added fresh cilantro and onions to it but the salsa was store bought no doubt. I will say the French fries with steak and the burritos were very good and my husband enjoyed his tacos, but that’s all. Oh and when he asked for salsa Roja for his tacos she snarkishly asked if he meant the chips kind and pointed to it angrily and he said no the salsa Roja that’s spicy for my tacos. She brought it back quickly but it didn’t taste homemade either and she was so rude again when she brought it back. Also, I didn’t look on the menu so this could be normal but I asked for a small side of cheese dip just enough to pour over a burrito and she brought me an entire order. I’ve never had a restaurant not give a side but maybe it’s their policy but she could’ve clarified when I asked. Overall I would never go back on account of she was the rudest person I’ve ever met. She was tipped but she deserved way less than what we gave. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"This use to be a good place to eat. It doesn't seem to be anymore. They need to put the food back the way it was. They are putting something different in the wanton soup. It tastes like someone peed in it. The s&s chicken was so over cooked that I couldn't eat it. Even the chicken teriyaki my mom got was mostly fat and nothing eatable. The crab ragoons were also over cooked. The rice in both meals was very bland and sticky. What little pork that was in the rice was also over cooked and hard. Forty eight dollars and some change is a lot to pay for something that isn't eatable."
