"Man were we blown away by this place. We have kind of slept on the Eugene Chinese food scene because we admire Portland so much, but this place stands up to any of the best Chinese spots we have been to in the country. Their soup dumplings were great and I am so glad I took the recommendation of getting shrimp dumplings as well. We ordered a David Chang netflix special amount of food and it was all delicious. This is in the heart of campus town and they are lucky to have this gem in Eugene. We will be back!"

The Crazy fish dish is amazing! Be warned, it's a tad on the spicy side...in a good way. :

This was some of the best Chinese food I have ever eaten! If you are with a group of people I strongly suggest the whole bbq fish. We had a variety of other items that were good as well especially the kumin lamb but the fish was all I got a picture of.

be warned; only order the spicy Ramen if you REALLY like spice, I thought I knew what I was getting myself into.. My mouth is currently on fire, that being said- it is a very pleasant kind of burn. If you love spice, and can handle it- that ramen is for you! Deep flavor too!

My husband and I stopped here for lunch while driving from Eugene to Portland. We ordered the spicy beef noodles, shrimp lamp, and stir-fried cabbage, all of which were delicious. I did wish the noodles had been hand-pulled and a bit more al dente, but they were very flavorful, so I enjoyed them regardless. View menu

As a Chinese person, I can say that the food here is authentically delicious. I ordered the spicy beef soup, and it was fantastic—the beef was tender, the noodles had a perfect chewy texture, and the bok choy was excellent. In my 14 years living in this country, I've never found a restaurant that comes close to this one. It's a must-visit!

envy to university students that they can enjoy such authentic Chinese restaurant near the campus. Mainly the menu is Szechuan cuisine (from Southwest China), which dominates the great amount of famous Chinese dishes. The owner/cook of this particular restaurant came from Los Angeles (California) and brought the best selection to northwest, which we might not find easily in Seattle.

Great Chinese food restaurant on the UofO's restaurant row adjacent to the main campus. They are friendly and welcoming and have a very nice selection of classic (typical) and special dishes. Of special note are the sweet teas, which were a very nice complement to a modest dinner. They are like having dessert, they are so good. The atmosphere is simple but cozy. I would happily return here for another meal. View menu

Without a doubt, and with no reservations, I can say that Unique Chengdu is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Eugene—voted the best among my circle of food enthusiasts. This community, like the Greater Pacific Northwest overall, boasts a vibrant food scene with plenty of excellent dining options. However, some places stand out and truly deserve their five-star ratings, and Unique Chengdu is one of those exceptional restaurants.

I have never been to a more authentic Chinese restaurant! My friend who took me said the dishes are more North China specialty. The bbq fish is great for a group of 4 or 5 people with one or 2 appetizers. The potato and vinegar dish is almost sweet and a great appetizer to balance out the heat from the other dishes. Lots of the food is spicy but it is so full of flavor it dosn't bother me much. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new cultural food experience.
