Fantastic fast food and delicious soft serve ice cream! Whippy-Dip has been a beloved destination for many years.

I really appreciate that even when the restaurant is busy, the wait time isn't too long. I always enjoy coming here for ice cream!

Best place to get ice cream in the state with every possible flavor you can imagine, Ive been going here since I was a kid and now take my own. I hope they never close. They are a staple for the area. View menu

So very good! Loved the upside down banana split in a cup! I love banana splits and found it so much easier to eat it out of a cup. My kids had s'mores flavor(so so good) and banana and birthday cake. All really good!

I drove all the way from Ashland, KY to try this restaurant. Their hours were listed online and there was signage on the door indicating they would be open today. However, when I arrived, the restaurant was closed, and there was no information about the closure on their Facebook page.

A little hole in the wall GEM! I got a Buffalo bacon burger and my boyfriend the double bacon burger we each got a side and it was all $16!! They also offered a ton of different ice cream flavors and combinations but we were so full that we couldn't eat anymore. Everything was so good, large portions and a very reasonable price. Wow! This is the best banana split and pineapple shake I've ever had! The ice cream is not only incredibly affordable but also absolutely delicious, and the staff was fantastic! We were traveling from Kentucky to Virginia and found this place on the map, so we decided to stop for some ice cream. I'm so glad we made that choice! Yum!!!

I grew up not too far from this place, and it's been a beloved part of the community for as long as I can remember. Although I don't live nearby anymore, I make it a point to visit a few times each summer to enjoy a glacier with my family. The flavors are outstanding, with around 70 soft serve ice cream options to choose from, and everything they offer is top quality.

i have to give a one. i ordered ice cream and a hotdog. that hotdog took 20 minutes for her to make. what is she doing back there? the people kid behind me ordered a hotdog and they got their order before i did. no apology for the wait. i was sitting there thinking they forgot my order. thinking i should go up to the counter and ask for a refund. that's why they get a 1. i would advise against ordering food. i won't anymore. my granny was faster.
