"The closure of Miche Linda, the Inland Empire's beloved gem, has left a deep void in the hearts of many. I've sampled numerous Mexican restaurants within a 25-mile radius of Upland, and it's clear that nothing comes close to the exceptional quality of this place. Bernavid's unique style and refined techniques in crafting authentic Mexican dishes are unmatched and are sorely missed by the Upland community. His cooking warmed the hearts and satisfied the appetites of so many. I hope to someday walk through those two glass doors again, greeted by the genuine aromas wafting from Miche Linda's kitchen. "I recently had the best steak I've had in a long time at this restaurant. It was cooked perfectly, flavorful, tender, and reasonably priced. The only issue was that it was served on a cold plate, so it cooled down quickly before reaching the table. If they could address that one issue, it would easily be a five-star experience."

"The dining area is a bit compact, but there's plenty of seating available. It had a nice buzz of activity and was quite lively. We ordered the mammoth chicken, a button mushroom appetizer, a ribeye with mashed potatoes, and a prime rib with rice pilaf. Unfortunately, the chicken was a bit overcooked, resulting in a dry and tough texture, which was disappointing. On the other hand, the ribeye was cooked medium and had a good flavor. The prime rib, cooked medium rare, was excellent in both flavor and texture. In terms of taste, I would rank the dishes from least to most enjoyable, with the prime rib coming out on top. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting, especially considering the reasonable price of around $30-40 for such a quality dish, which I think is a fantastic deal. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for steak or prime rib, perfect for celebrating special occasions. I look forward to returning again in the future."

"I found this restaurant on Yelp when I was searching for a Mexican restaurant near my hotel. Wanted to have some good California Mexican food before I headed back to Montana. This place did not disappoint! Everything about this place was awesome! The ambiance, the food, and the service. Our waitress was Tonya sorry if I misspelled that , who was as sweet and accommodating as could be. My friend asked if they had a hotter salsa than the one served with the chips and next thing we know she brought a sample of all of them! They were all delicious! I don't know about anyone else, but everyone I know judges a Mexican restaurant by the chips and salsa that are served. We were not disappointed. So happy, right from the start. Then my tacos came and from the beans, to the rice, to the tacos loaded with carne asada, it was the best Mexican food I've had in years! My friend even plans on recommending to family nearby. I definitely plan to go back the next time I'm there."

"This review is strictly on the service as the food has remained consistently good. I've also taken as much time as possible to allow for as an objective experience as possible. When the owners/staff are speaking animatedly and with more energy with other Indian patrons who are sitting at the bar--whether or not they are family friends, etc, but go completely silent when they serve, that's a red flag. I was in the mood for Indian food and was in the area running errands, so I decided to stop by. I didn't really think much of the interaction initially when I walked in and was seated, but this question is directed mainly at the man and woman whom I've seen the last two times I've been here. Is there a reason for the difference in demeanor? There was another family who came in and were seated for dinner shortly before I left, and I noticed they were treated the same way--with complete silence. I'd consider this a nuance of this place specifically since I've been to Indian restaurants in Diamond Bar, Ontario, and Pomona, and there are distinctly more interactive. I wouldn't consider this a nuance of introversion based on what I've seen or heard. I'm not looking to have a heart-to-heart conversation but at least have a basic level of interaction like a thank you or welcome. I thanked the man each time my water was refilled, and I also said thank you when leaving. NO REPLY at any point, and this is not an exaggeration or embellishment of the experience. This has been consistent. If you're going to order for takeout, you're fine. If you're good with silence, you're fine too. I'll stick with Curryland in Pomona. That's a rougher part of Pomona in a small and dense parking lot. The food there is just as good, and least there's an inkling of customer service. I'm done with this place."
