"It was ok. Alex our waitress was nice and then big parties started coming to sit outside. Tons of dogs and if you like that, great. Go inside if you don’t. Because there were lots of them outside. Then we just ordered two drinks and two sandwiches. Nothing major. Awhile goes by and my wine glass is empty. The waitress had brought out drinks for the large tablesno biggie. So when she walks by I just ask for another glass of wine and possibly my salad (I ordered a side salad with my meal). She snottily responds “I was waiting on the larger tables” . Yea I saw that. I wasn’t waving my hand like a maniac asking for wine, as my son is in the restaurant business. So she comes back in a bit, with the wine and our food. She slams the food down on the glass table and I know the table and plates are glass so it makes a noise but she did it abruptly. Then, throws the bag of chips down my company had with their sandwich and starts talking in a loud voice to us for no reason. She came back later and asked if everything was ok in the same loud voice. Sorry we weren’t a big table and I just wanted a glass of wine and food that’s not cold. My son would’ve been angry over this even. I usually leave a 25-45% tip at least. Her tip reflected her attitude. The food was good but minuscule in size. The “side salad” is just a few pieces of lettuce and some tomatoes. The coleslaw was in a table spoon sized cup and pulled pork sandwich was good but small also with very few pieces of pork. Not impressive. Photo included of the mini sized coleslaw."

"I heard about Skipolini 's prego pizza during my last pregnancy but never made it out since my son arrived early. Fast forward to present times and I wanted to try it out in hopes of getting this baby to come out! About 5 hours have passed since we ate and no luck so far, but will definitely update my review if this famous pizza actually does the job haha. We had our son with us so I was called hoping to order ahead so we didn 't have to wait too long for our pizza, but they said they couldn 't do that. But much to our surprise when we drove up, there is actually a playground on the outdoor patio! It 's pretty small and according to my husband it would be crowded if even two kids were in it because of how it 's designed, but luckily we were the only ones so it helped kill some time for our little guy. They also gave crayons and kids coloring pages, so this is definitely a kid friendly place. The wait wasn 't too bad, took about 15-20 mins for our food to come out around 3pm on a Sunday. My Prego Pizza was pretty tasty but not nearly as spicy as I hoped! I added a lot of chili flakes and Tabasco which added some more kick to the extra onions and garlic on the pizza. The ingredients on the pizza itself are all your standard meats (salami, pepperoni, ham, linguisa, sausage, ground beef) and veggies (olive, mushroom, bell pepper, garlic) that you would find on a combo or supreme style pizza. Not my first choices but I 'm here with a goal in mind! As far as taste goes though I enjoyed my husband 's Bettega pizza. It 's listed as a favorite on the menu also and I love a white sauce pizza! The spinach and tomatoes go really well with the white garlic sauce too. We each got a small size and were able to bring half of each pizza home still so the small is a very generous size for one person. Service was okay, nothing memorable or spectacular. He got us what we needed and when we needed it, and nothing more. The interior of the restaurant gives me Macaroni Grill vibes, like it hasn 't been redecorated or remodeled since it first opened up. They had a great 80s/90s music playlist. Although that didn 't go with the restaurant or atmosphere, it was enjoyable to listen to at least. Just seems like a restaurant that has been a staple in the neighborhood for years and has its regular customers keeping it going. Not sure if I would necessarily come drive out of my way again to return, but it was a pretty solid pizza with delicious crust so I don 't have anything bad to say. Here 's to hoping this Prego pizza kicks in when I eat my leftovers!"

"We were in the area and decided to stop by. I've heard really good things about this chain and a wanted to try it for myself. We were seated right away, the place was not too busy. Our server took our order, I ordered the well fed with a choice of 4 proteins (half ribs, double brisket, burnt ends) the sides (Mac n cheese, baked beans) 5/10 The ribs I did ask for them to not be sauced but they were TOUGH.. I did not enjoy them at all, the burnt ends and brisket were okay. The Mac n cheese was so chewy and hard I had to ask if I could replace it with another side and got coleslaw I should have ordered another side of baked beans instead because they were really good it also came with hushpuppies and pickles. My son ordered the chicken tenders off the kids menu 3/10 He complained about how the tenders were hurting his teeth and mouth as he was eating. They were fried so hard which made them rock hard... He literally sat there and pealed the crust off in order to enjoy them.. I hated that. Along with his tenders he ordered fresh fruit The fruit did look fresh and he enjoyed them. What I thought was so weird is not to long after we were served our food our server brought out my check. I made a comment that I wasn't ready for the check yet because we were going to order dessert.... I ordered a small banana pudding and my son wanted ice cream but they only had vanilla flavored ice cream, no chocolate. So, he opted to just have some of my pudding. But what a bummer, the menu should def specify that they only offer vanilla ice cream so the kids know ahead of time. I did notice that the reviews indicate that midwood is good based on which one you go to, but why would that be the case? If all the locations serve the same thing, shouldn't it be consistent??Overall Happy I got to try them out, but I'll stick to the smoke pit for bbq, they just get it right there."
