Stood at the counter waiting to order while both employees chatted with a friend at the register blatantly ignoring me. Garbage is as garbage does I suppose. Sorry I gave this establishment a chance. "I'm Italian American. I been going to Sbarro's at the mall for at least 35 years. The food was always delicious. But now apparently the fast food chain has a new owner. I ordered baked ziti with 2 meatballs. The meatballs were not seasoned like theyused to be in the past. The bake ziti were blanded. And the marinara sauce seemed like a red tomato sauce they threw over theziti. Sbarro's at the mall has cheapened their ingredients. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN! And, I WILL LET PEOPLE KNOW, TOO!"

"I ordered a $28 chicken parm and Mac and cheese at this restaurant and was overcharged. The employee, Naseef, offered me breadsticks to make up for the mistake, explaining that he was new. I was charged $8.99 for the chicken parm ziti (which I never received), $7.99 for the Mac and cheese entree (which I did receive), and $5.99 for an additional side of Mac and cheese (which I also did not receive). Naseef mentioned a recent price increase, but there was no notice of this on the menu. I would appreciate a refund for the overcharge, and I do not need the extra breadsticks."

"As soon as we walked in we were harassed by an employee telling us we needed to have a receipt to use the bathroom, as though we couldn?t read the sign on the door. I was also asked to order at another location from where my partner had just ordered, sonot sure what the deal with that was. Another employee took the men?s room key away from me whilst I was waiting for my partnerto finish up in the women?s room; I was watching over our food to avoid it being left unattended. And was called a liar by thesame employee after being asked if I closed the bathroom door (which I did, just didn?t lock it, which was not asked of me). Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting on top of it. Pizza there isn?t even worth the $6.50 they want per slice. Hire betteremployees."

"Disappointing experience! This was my final visit to Sbarro at Carolina Place Mall. My husband really enjoys their spaghetti, but after today, we won't be returning. He ordered a small spaghetti and a tea, only to be informed by José that they no longer serve tea and that a small spaghetti is unavailable. Instead, he said my husband would need to order a large spaghetti combo with a slice or a large drink. Since my husband can't drink soda and there’s no tea option anymore, he opted to go somewhere else. José and his team were unhelpful. It seems like it’s all about the money for Sbarro. What difference does it make to accommodate a small spaghetti for an adult or child? José claimed this was a corporate decision regarding the tea, which is simply unacceptable!"

"It 's kind of like pizza... But we don 't eat here anymore after dealing with the manager on one of our last visits. The gentleman with the shaved head has always been there for as long as we can remember, we honestly thought he must have been theowners, and while he has taken our order in the past he has never been either overly happy or overly disgruntled...always just aguy doing his job. About a year ago we had gone in and he was absolutely unpleasant and almost seemed as if we were botheringhim by being there. Everyone has a bad day though so we kind of shrugged it off. Then about a month later, as we only get foodhere every now and again, we came in to order and in the middle of the order he abruptly just sighed and handed us off to ayounger employee while visibly seeming almost disgusted with having to wait for us to make choices! He the proceeded to assistanother couple next to us and very clearly thanked them for being able to make proper choices !! They were not busy and we werebarely there for maybe 2 minutes. So we have decided to take our business elsewhere and outside of the mall when it comes togetting pizza. This place is not even that good and definitely not good enough to be treated like this from!!"

"bad service. I ordered a Stromboli and on the way to checkout decided to have the Stromboli combo containing drinks and salad. I come to the checkout and tell the woman that I want it, she accuses me and I pay extra for the lemon drink. Then I wait for my salad, but what I received is a pouting from the woman who warms the orders. Is it very difficult to serve a salad that has already been paid? he had no more people to visit. "I'm giving this restaurant five stars because one thing that can't be taught or trained is exceptional customer service. Customer service is all about creating an experience, ideally a fantastic one. It requires being attentive, engaging, knowledgeable, and friendly. MOSES provided all of that for me and my son while I was doing a bit of retail therapy at Bay Plaza Mall today. I could see him smiling the entire time, even behind his mask. His energy was amazing! And, as always, my son loved the pepperoni pizza and breadsticks. Keep up the great work!!!"

"I inquired about the new pizza chef at the restaurant and learned that his name is Sal. I was skeptical at first because the pizza there used to be mediocre, causing me to give up on the place years ago. However, I decided to give it another shot after witnessing Sal expertly toss the dough in the air behind the counter. His skills were impressive, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the pizza was. It was so good that I believe Sal could easily open his own successful pizzeria. His talent truly transformed the taste of the pizza, and I would highly recommend it to others."

"Martha at this restaurant location consistently makes the best pizza with the best toppings. She is very friendly and when someone else is working, the quality of the pizza is noticeably worse. I am not easily disappointed, but the other staff members do not provide great service. Martha, on the other hand, gives amazing service. She deserves a raise!"
