"Midday visit. Appreciated the friendly small atmosphere. They have an extensive tap list and well appointed food menu. The salmon tasted fresh, not fishy like frozen and thawed sometimes can. The burger was large and cooked to order. Service was prompt and cheerful. There was live music, which we did not expect. We'll do a return visit when in the area."

"Okay, I?m a taco fiend and my tastebuds know great tacos. I?ve been to several places here in Tucson and I?ve had excellent tacos! Taqueria El Pueblito is great also, but, a little greater! The shredded beef was better, the taco shells a little crispier (but not over cooked! and the salsa bar was great! My scope of rating a restaurant is: food first, the salsa bar 2nd, the customer service, and then the establishment itself. I already spoke about the tacos, the salsas and pickled carrots and jalapeños we?re phenomenal! Could have used a bin of cilantro, but it didn?t hurt the flavor without it. The restaurant itself, was the nicest and cleanest I?ve been to. Nice seating, indoors and out and the people working there were very friendly and helpful! If you like tacos you should try this place out!"

"I absolutely adore the cream cheese burrito at this restaurant! I have tried all three varieties, and the pork option is definitely my favorite. The queso options and guacamole are both delicious as well. I recommend getting the refried beans instead of the black beans, as they are often undercooked. While the food may not be extraordinary, it is certainly better than the black beans. The margaritas are decent, and a pitcher can serve about 3 people and a half. My experience with this restaurant has been great every time we visit, with only one issue in 3 years, and that was with a delivery order. We make sure to eat here every time we are in town!"

"Been a patron for man6 years and have had poor dining experiences the past 6 or 7 times eating there. This last one was the worst. Waiting 10-15 min to take a drink order. The chips they provide were almost all stale but did not complain. Once ourfood was brought out. I asked on two separate occasions to have a sauce refill. That took a 3rd ask to someone other than ourwaitress to get it. By then the food was cold. I then decide to take it home and asked two more times for a to go salsa anddidn't get it, so when I was leaving I went up to the bar and asked a 3rd time and got it. Overall it was a lunch that tookabout an hour and a half due to no one checking on us for long periods if time. The restaurant wasn't that busy a few tableshere and there. "Food wise they are amazing. The workers are very friendly. When it come to take out please check and double check your order. Last time I ordered three naughty quesos, and by the time I got home, I saw they had given us two. Today I just ordered two quesos with mild salsa … got spicy salsa instead.In case you are wondering, I did mention it … the server seemed to just take it in stride and I didn’t even get an apology or a comment. "The building itself smelt strange, the dining area was filthy, and let's not even talk about the bathrooms—they were disgusting and had an odd odor. This place reeks and is incredibly unpleasant. The guy taking our order was extremely annoying to say the least. He kept repeating things unnecessary and had a really snappy attitude. He was talking to us as though we were dumb for the simplest things and over explaining everything ruined the experience. Additionally, watching them package orders is extremely unsanitary; employees were on their phones, wiping things down, touching things, and then packaging and giving out orders without gloves or washing their hands."

"They follow the special instructions about 3 out of 10 times when I place an order. Additionally, their tacos are packed with green chilis, which can make them extremely spicy, depending on your tolerance. There are times when there seem to be more chilis than meat, which is a bit much. The quality is inconsistent. However, when they actually follow the instructions, the tacos are delicious."

"Velvet Taco is a popular spot for tacos in Chicago, and for good reason. The tacos are delicious, the atmosphere is fun, and the service is friendly. I recently went to Velvet Taco with a few friends, and we all had a great time.I ordered the buffalo taco, which is made with crispy chicken tenders, buffalo sauce, Danish bleu cheese, ranch crema, carrots, and micro celery. The taco was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the buffalo sauce was flavorful and not too spicy, and the toppings were all fresh and delicious. I also really enjoyed the flour tortilla. It was soft and fluffy, and it held everything together perfectly.The service at Velvet Taco was also excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive, and she made sure that we had everything we needed.Overall, we had a great experience at Velvet Taco.
