"chuys has a pretty decent menu for vegan options. I usually get the guacamole tacos without cheese (be sure that they are the hard mais tortillas her salsa in my opinion in order. not the best (it has a carbonized consistency,) but not the worse where I don't eat it. their fried beans are really good! the personal was always friendly and make sure that I have all vegan options. this is a great place to go when they do not visit vegan friends or family to make sure everyone can eat something they enjoy. I would definitely recommend to give chuy’s a try!"

"This restaurant is an excellent choice for fans of Mexican cuisine. During my visit, the service was a bit slow; even though the dining area wasn't very crowded, my salad took a while to arrive, and some orders placed after mine were served first. However, the wait was definitely worth it! I had a taco salad without the shell, topped with chorizo and guacamole, and it was absolutely delicious! The ingredients were fresh, and both the guacamole and pico de gallo were bursting with flavor. Although the chorizo was slightly overcooked, it was still very tasty. I've returned a few times to try the chicken and pork options as well, and they were all outstanding. One thing to keep in mind is that there’s no drink station, so you won't get free refills—this might seem unusual for those of us from America, but it's quite common in many other parts of the world. The dining area was clean and spacious, making it comfortable without feeling cramped by other patrons. The restrooms were also very clean and well-maintained. This is definitely a place I intend to return to!"

"Stopped by Chuy's in Luts on Sun evening in April 22. It was busy and after 30 min wait we were sitted in a dining room on the right side of the resturant with very few people. The food was tasty and portions were big. Their homemade salsa was very fresh and delightfully hot. Guacamole was fresh, but lacked any spiceness at all. Fajitas were good, but not remarkable. The service however was disappointing. The waiter's attitude was like “I told ya food was coming, leave me alone” Wasn't nice Also, when asked to recommend some Chuy's signature sauce on the side the one he brought was just uneatable So, the feelings from this place are mixed."

"I came in alone while my rented Tesla was charging in the parking lot. Thought I'd get some queso and a coke at the bar. Host kid said the bar had no spots, meanwhile there were only 2 people at the bar and many open bar stools and a bartender leaning there looking bored. 2 families were waiting to be sat. So the genius takes me to a booth that could have sat a waiting family of 4 and, instead, sat me. Lol all I wanted was to watch some the game. As with everything these days, food and ambiance are good and employees are out of it."

"I would like to bring attention to a few issues I experienced during my visit. I tried to talk to the manager about several cleanliness concerns, but it seemed they were not open to my feedback. First, the air conditioning system is quite dirty, with grimy ducts. Additionally, it looks like the climate filters are missing. There is also dust coming from open gaps around the ducts, and the floors are unacceptably dirty. I believe that food should not be served until these areas are thoroughly cleaned."

"This place is really great! I visited on a Friday when they had a live band, which added to the atmosphere. The drinks are excellent, and the food is tasty too. The ambiance is laid-back, making it a family-friendly spot. They offer a nice variety of food and drink options. The customer service is generally good, although the servers can become a bit overwhelmed when it gets crowded. Overall, it's a wonderful place to enjoy a drink while watching sports or listening to live music."

"I usually love California Taco Shop, but recently the service has been really disappointing. I called and was left on hold for six minutes. After hanging up, I called again to make sure my order wasn’t missed, but was put on hold for seven minutes before the call was disconnected. On my third try, when I finally spoke to the woman who answered, she hung up on me before I could say anything. With service like this, it’s hard to see how California Taco Shop will keep customers coming back, especially given how great their menu is."

"This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a very long time! We went to the Chuy's on Woodruff Rd. Tori was our server and she was awesome! She was so sweet and provided top quality service. The food was excellent. I got the seasoned ground sirloin burrito with tex mex sauce and it was to die for!!! To top it all off, my bill was only a little over 12$!!! You can not go anywhere and get as great of food or service for that price. The scenery and decor was very unique and fun!!! Thanks for the great experience!!!"

"Our office often orders from Chuy 's for our pharma rep to pick-up for our lunch. We typically do not have issues ordering over the phone with the exception of both times Vanessa took our order. The last time we ordered with Vanessa, our rep was already at the restaurant to pick up the food before Vanessa even completed the over the phone order. Today 's order, what should take under 5 minutes to complete, took over 15. We had to repeat our order MULTIPLE times she still did not get it correct. She constantly put us on hold to find the right button on the register. She also kept repeating that she did not know how to ring in certain items to us which should NEVER be relayed to the customer.Certain items that our staff ordered due to diet restrictions, she questioned the choices which was very unprofessional. The manner in which she talked over the phone is not how we would allow our staff to communicate to customers. We contribute to the Chuy 's Polaris business often. Nobody should be given this type of service over the phone or in person. We are not happy with how these orders were handled."

"I've had waaay better Mexican food. Our waitress was nice though, helpful. The guy taking our order was VERY WEIRD, he was more concerned with the people that was coming in behind us, not even looking at us when he took our order. I just find it odd, that's all. He didn't even tell us that the chips/salsa were supposed to be put on the order if we wanted any. NORMALLY, chips salsa comes with your order when dining in, especially when our order came up to 114. (We got food for dining in and some for to go. When we received our order, (we ordered tacos burritos the tortilla weren't even warmed up, wasn't even home made, tastes like it just came out from the bag bought from a market, the cooks are supposed to warm up your tortilla on the skillet, or if they can't, atleast microwave it, it was SO DRY! The guac tastes like it came out from a store bought mason jar. Top it off, our burrito had SO MUCH SALSA JUICE, it was literally eating salsa ?. This place IS NOT AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD, sorry. This will be the first last for us."

"I guess “under new ownership” isn’t always a good thing. We have gotten take out every week since shortly after they opened years ago. All through COVID, every week to support them. They just changed owners, and I am NOT impressed. We loved the Ribeye Tacos for the flavor and nice change from basic carne asada. Now it’s gone for good. The cilantro salsa, also a favorite, now tastes watered down and bland. The food is good enough but the things that made it special to us are now gone so it’s just another taco restaurant. Nothing special anymore for the area. Their new help is clueless. I think I will give them one more week to get it right and then bounce. Their guacamole is still good which earned the extra star.Years of loyalty, betrayed."

"Came here for Saturday lunch and immediately felt unwelcome. The restaurant was empty, and the girl at the register just stared at us from inside while we sat outside—never greeted us or came out. I had to go in just to ask for menus, and even then, she didn’t smile or say a word, just gave a cold, irritated stare like we were bothering her. She stayed on her phone and ignored us, even though we were the only customers there. Eventually, as we got up to leave, she came out and asked—still with a sour face—if we were ready to order. I told her no, we were leaving because her energy was so negative and uncomfortable, it ruined the entire experience before it even began. This type of rude, unbothered attitude makes people walk out. In times like these, every customer counts. If you care about good service and a welcoming vibe, this is not the place. Management should take this seriously—I doubt we’re the first to feel this way. So we ended up going to have lunch next door at “Raffaell’s” delicious Italian Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"I recently tried the new CARNITAS Burrito and was quite disappointed. It was very bland and I found a bone along with three pieces of cartilage in it, which made it inedible for me. The Chicken Empanadas were also quite dry, but they were still an improvement over the burrito. The only highlight of the meal was the chips and salsa that accompanied the CARNITAS Burrito. Overall, I'm extremely dissatisfied with my experience."

"This was probably the most mediocre Mexican place I have ever eaten at. The food was ok, I would rank it above Taco Bell. The restaurant is deceptively situated in an upscale area of shops and businesses. Its kinda hidden away in the corner of the Mall/Shops area. There may be a reason for this. In this nice area you step into a place that looks beat up, and has no rhyme or reason for the decor. The table and chairs look like they were brought in second hand from a fifties diner. One chair I was next to had the back nearly falling off. So much for the environment. I ordered the Chuychanga with refried beans and rice. The portion was descent but the flavor was bland. They also make a todo about the sauces the meals come with, I did not get any sauce, an oversight I'm sure. I was eating in the bar area so good service on a Thursday afternoon about 3pm should have been a no brainer, but I sat my empty glass of tea on the edge where it could be obvious I needed a refill. The server passed by 6 times before stopping to ask if I needed a refill. Despite all the negatives I experienced, the chips were hot and fresh, and the salsa was great. The Chips and Salsa saved this experience from being equal to Taco Bell at 1 stars across the board. I would not recommend to anyone I know to go to this restaurant. P.S. This was my experience and it was not influenced by other reviewers opinions"

"This is a fantastic restaurant with quick service and truly authentic Mexican flavors! I absolutely love the pastor in the Gringas! Plus, on Wednesdays, they have a $2 Gringas night and you can buy a taco for $1.50 and get another one for free! It's also really close to my house! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is tired of the typical Mexican restaurants in the city. The food is delicious!"

"This restaurant is incredibly authentic! The food is excellent and was served promptly. The tacos are less saucy than typical street tacos, but they are still exceptionally well-prepared. There are only two types of salsa available, and they don't have any labels, so it can be a bit confusing. There are no hot sauces to be found, not even Cholula or Tabasco. If you prefer semi-dry street tacos rather than the usual messy ones, this place is perfect for you! However, if you're someone who enjoys a lot of salsa or hot sauce, the food remains some of the best Mexican cuisine around—just don’t forget to bring your own Tabasco, haha!"
