"It is difficult to write this review, as this restaurant used to be our favorite spot in Newport as locals. The current menu is completely different from the summer menu we were used to, and it was not listed online. We were expecting to enjoy our usual hummus plates and cruditie, but instead found only a pricey full menu. If you are looking to graze, I would suggest going elsewhere. It seems like they are trying to mimic Scarpetta's, the Italian restaurant associated with The Gurney, which was not what we were looking for. Despite having a reservation, all the firepits were taken, so we ended up eating our delicious burgers on the upper deck. We sadly looked at each other and realized we may not be returning until next summer. This was a disappointing way to end our season in Newport. Please update the menu online to reflect the changes, and improve the service as well. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."
