"We brought a large group in to buy ice cream tonight after the high school graduation. My 70 year old mother asked to use the restroom and they told us no. They said the restroom closed at 9:00 although the store was still open and serving food! We asked 2 different people a total of 4 times and told them we had a group pf 10 paying customers. They didn’t care and refused to let my mother use the restroom. We left without ordering anything. We will not return."

"What can I say about Cold Stone? Their ice cream is absolutely the best! I don't go there often because I want to be able to fit through my front door, but whenever I crave a sweet treat, Cold Stone is my top choice. The establishment is always spotless, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and quick. Every time I visit, I feel like a kid in a candy store, overwhelmed by the options, and I genuinely enjoy that feeling! I always stick with my favorite: French vanilla with graham crackers. I’ve thought about trying other flavors, but I just can’t resist that delicious taste that never fails to make my taste buds dance. It’s the perfect place for a special treat!"

"We had a craving for ice cream and we hadn’t ordered Cold Stone in quite a while. This was the first time we ordered at this Cold Stone location. The waffle bowls we ordered were the freshest we had ever tasted at a Cold Stone Creamery; also the portion size of ice cream was enormous. We had to take half our portion/order to-go, because there was too much ice cream to eat in one setting. I highly recommend this Cold Stone location."

"I visited the Deer Park location for the first time this past hot Sunday to pick up my $65 online order, which included German Chocolate Cake, Berry Berry Berry Good, and Surrender to Strawberry! My order was ready right when I arrived, and one of the friendly and professional employees handed it to me. The interior was spotless and well-organized, buzzing with satisfied customers! I will definitely return to this location for my ice cream cravings in the future!"

"I went to this restaurant tonight and I was very disappointed with the stingy portion sizes and lack of supplies. The employee, likely following instructions, only gave us a tiny amount of ice cream, even though the sample display had much more. We spent over $30 and felt like we didn't get our money's worth. The pictures on the menu are deceiving, as there is a lot of empty space underneath what you actually receive. They were out of almond milk and sprinkles for the minion ice cream, and on top of that, they had the audacity to ask for a minimum tip amount of $4. I have nothing against the staff, but I am frustrated with the greedy owners."

"I am pretty tired of the owners of this Cold Stone! In the past I 've seen them ask kids (not the parents) if they want a cone which costs more money...right? Shouldn 't be that big of a deal but it 's annoying. Today our nanny took the kids here and the owner apparently scooped too much ice cream for the medium size that was ordered. She said to our nanny, I 'm going to put this in a larger bowl . Innocent enough until she charged my nanny for the large size. I find these kinds of practices distasteful and dishonest, and frankly makes me never want to go back. To the owners I say, grow up and run an honest business . To potential customers I say, watch these folks for dishonest behavior and don 't accept it ."

"I ordered the new Reese's peanut butter with ingenious sauce at this restaurant. However, they didn't actually have the ingenious sauce. It was more like a half-hearted attempt at putting crushed peanut butter cup pieces in it. Another person ordered the peanut butter perfection, which was just big pieces of peanut butter cup mixed in. I won't be returning to this disappointing restaurant."

"Not only do they have fabulous cakes/ice cream what an amazing staff they have!! I have ordered the same cake for my son’s birthday for 10yrs now (since he was 16yrs old) at the Madison Heights location.. when I called to order they were having phone issues. I contacted the Sterling Heights location in fear of the business being closed etc this young man Caleb not only assured me offered to fill my order, he went out of his way to directly contact an employee,Narmeen,at the Madison Heights location knowing this was a 10yr tradition I wanted to keep. Narmeen called me from her personal cell,placed my order,sent me a confirmation text AND even let me enter the store before they opened knowing I was traveling a distance to spend a short time with my son! We moved an hour 30 min north 3 yrs ago will continue to only order from Madison Heights Sterling Heights for as long as I’m able!? Thank You Cold Stone for having such AMAZING employees!! "On Saturday evening, we went to Cold Stone after having a disappointing experience at HuHot Mongolian Grill next door. Unfortunately, Cold Stone was missing at least six flavors, and the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. I thought HuHot was bad, but this place was even worse. It makes me wonder if this is a common issue in the mall or if staffing shortages are affecting everyone, though both restaurants appeared to have enough staff. I can't recommend this location, but I will say the ice cream was good, which is why I’m giving it two stars."

"This is my very first time to OH and I love cold stone ice cream so while I'm here I thought I was going to be able and grab some of my ice cream from my favorite place but today was one of my worst that I ever experience from a cold stone ice cream pollar first they didn't greet you when walking in the store secondly, the young lady was just wiping her nose and didn't go wash her hands and was ready to try to serve ice cream to me the second person in the store distant and knowledge. The person at all like you wasn't there for service. So overall, your employees need to be retrained on the hospitality and service of the title of their job"

"The service was so poor that it deserves a one-star rating. The woman who assisted me was only mediocre at best, and I waited about five minutes for someone to help me. When they finally did, they both seemed hesitant to assist me. Another issue I had was with their ice cream selection; they offer exotic flavors but lack the basic ones. I can't understand how they don't have butter pecan but do offer pistachio. I remember this place being better, or maybe the one in Virginia is just superior—I'm not sure. This experience was really disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it. Plus, at $7, it definitely wasn't worth it."

I've never been informed that I couldn't have two separate scoops without mixing in the toppings. This has been my experience during my recent visits. Over the last three times I've been to Cold Stone, there has always been an issue, and this latest experience has pushed us over the edge. The prices aren't justifiable anymore.
