"I used to frequently visit this area for vacations before COVID because I have family here, but it has been a couple of years since my last visit. Unfortunately, the previous owners of Hang On are no longer there, and they have taken the charm of the restaurant with them. I went in with high hopes, but everything was disappointing. The Hot N Sour soup had a strange taste like feet. The Pad Thai noodles were limp and lacking in flavor. The Almond Boneless chicken gravy seemed old and reheated multiple times, resembling a gray clumpy substance that should be flushed down the toilet. I wish I could say that the new owners were kind, but they were actually quite rude and unpleasant. I overheard them loudly complaining about other customers from the kitchen. It is disheartening to see that the original owners spent over 15 years building a strong reputation, excelling in customer service, and consistently serving delicious food, only for it all to go downhill when passing the business on to someone else. I was among the many who waited eagerly in line on the opening day of Hang On Express. Despite the cold February weather, the line stretched out the door and down the block, but it was worth the wait. Sadly, my fondness for Hang On has now ended. To the original owners (the Hangs): Thank you for 15+ years of fantastic food. If you ever decide to return and open another restaurant, myself and many others I have spoken to would welcome you back warmly (or you could return to offer some guidance to the current owners)."

"I can't be comparing this restaurant to other Thai restaurants back at home since the availability is way different but I can say it's decent Thai food. After having a bad experience at a restaurant nearby, my family and I opted for this alternative since 1. We love asian food, and 2. You can never go wrong with Thai food. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who told us his wife that does all the cooking. You get table service but it's also self serve for drinks. The owner informed us he will be cleaning up tables so if we wanted to grab our drinks, we were more than welcomed to. I felt like I worked there grabbing all the waters and condiments for our meals lol. Bacon wrapped enoki: must try! I've never had fried enoki mushrooms so it was intriguing. It comes with a shallot/chili vinaigrette and it's not spicy unless you bite on one of the chopped chilies inside the dish. Chicken yellow curry plate: For $13, it was pricier than I was used to for Thai food but this portion was shareable. We were given a large bowl of curry and a large portion of rice my SO and I were full after sharing this dish and the bacon wrapped enoki appetizers. Curry was creamy with potatoes and a lot of chicken. We had pieces of chicken with every bite. Thai sausage: It's a mild curried sausage with lemongrass and other spices inside the meat. Good with rice, soy sauce and sriracha. There's also hooks around the tables to hang your snowboarding jacket or heavy coats before you settle down to have a meal."

"Tasty Thai lives by its name!Dropped in with my girlfriend craving Thai food after a long tiring day of work and we instantly fell in love with this little cute restaurant. Decor is nice and simple but definitely the energy in there is what I felt gave me the best feeling before eating delicious. The lady who doubles as hostess/waitress is super sweet and her calm demeanor just makes you feel right at home and gives you a Zen peaceful feeling which is definitely needed after a chaotic day of work. After a quick ponder of the menu we decided to order Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao and to start our flavor jets the crispy calamari appetizer! Pad Thai 10/10Super super delicious and being Thai I 'm picky, my grandma is a retired chef and this honestly gave me ratatouille effect and brought me priceless memories of her cooking! Pad Kee Mao 9/10Only reason it 's not 10/10 is because the Pad Thai stole the show and if I had to knit pick the serving was a bit small but it was great tasting hot and fresh! Crispy Calamari 100/10!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!If you love calamari you must order some of these delicious tender lite crispy deliciousness to pair with whatever main dish you choose. Some places have them battered too thick or some don 't know how to prepare them so there tender when fried and they become chewy but Tasty Thai got it perfect! Will definitely come back for more delicious food because my girlfriend kept repeating that she loved this spot and the food was super comforting.Only thing I would change/recommend is maybe some low music or something to break the silence, but that 's definitely not stopping us from coming back very soon!Thank you Tasty Thai"

"Tucked away among the eclectic mix of specialty shops and creatively named 'clubs' along Winchester Road, next to the eye-catching Big Ass Fans mural (which I surprisingly enjoy), lies some great food options. While there have been decent taco spots and longtime favorites like Spalding's doughnuts and Charlie's famous fish sandwich, many establishments seem to fade away into obscurity. However, I’m confident that Jasmine Rice, housed in the former Fusion restaurant at Winchester and Seventh Street, will certainly stand the test of time. Offering a blend of Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, Jasmine Rice also features Laotian dishes on weekends—Lexington’s first of its kind. Although the drinks arrive promptly at your table and the decor, with its oilcloth tabletops and bare walls, lacks charm, the flavors are a delightful contrast. Each dish is perfectly seasoned, akin to a harmonious culinary perfume, with the spice level delivering genuine heat. One fantastic way to experience the menu is by sampling various appetizers. The skewered barbecued pork is incredibly tasty, and its marinade may even evoke thoughts of ancestral connections between Laos and the American South. The Larb, made with stir-fried ground chicken, scallions, and onions, carries a subtle hint of fish sauce, complemented by julienne cucumbers, carrots, and fresh cilantro for a refreshing bite. You can wrap it in lettuce or pair it with sticky rice. The Vietnamese egg rolls are a standout; they’re fantastic! While a healthier option is available with vegetables, noodles, and tofu wrapped in fresh rice paper, the deep-fried version with minced pork, mushrooms, onions, and carrots is the perfect comfort food for chilly days. You can also enjoy a salad as your main dish. The green papaya salad, featuring fresh shrimp and chopped peanuts, caught my eye—it offers a unique texture reminiscent of vermicelli and bean sprouts, with the withered shrimp adding a delightful crunch and intense salty flavor. For something more substantial, the spicy Thai beef salad is a must-try. Thinly sliced beef mingles with fragrant lime juice, green onions, lettuce, cucumbers, and tomatoes, tossed in a simple house dressing that whispers of fish sauce, enhanced by fresh chopped cilantro and Thai basil. Jasmine Rice excels in soups as well. Downtown residents are in for a treat with their exceptional pho, which boasts a broth scented with cloves that transports you to the Spice Islands. You can order it with tripe if you prefer, but I find the tender brisket and melt-in-your-mouth meatballs to be the highlight. It’s customizable with jalapeño rings, Thai basil, scallions, lime, and bean sprouts. The tom yum soup offers a tangy, vibrant citrus kick that perfectly balances lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves. It’s filled with tender squid rings and shrimp, along with fresh tomato wedges and quartered mushrooms, making for a satisfying meal. Moreover, Jasmine Rice serves the best pad see ew in town. The wide, flat noodles are rich yet soft, coated in a sweet sauce, and stir-fried with eggs, broccoli, and your choice of protein. A squeeze of lime adds brightness, while bean sprouts contribute a refreshing crunch. And you can't overlook the curry—every meal deserves one! The kitchen’s delicate touch shines in the green curry, with its light coconut milk base and herbaceous, spicy flavors that perfectly complement the generous portions of diced carrots, baby corn, peas, and your choice of meat, seafood, or tofu. Even with my usual hesitation about blending multiple cuisines, I must say that Jasmine Rice nails it effortlessly."

"For my meal, I chose the Thai Fried Rice with chicken and the Pad Thai with beef—both classic dishes. The Thai Fried Rice with chicken was bursting with savory goodness. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, while the rice struck the ideal balance of moisture and fluffiness. The standout element was the sauce, a harmonious blend of flavors that offered just the right amount of sweetness with a subtle tang. This dish brilliantly showcased the chef's talent in crafting a well-rounded flavor profile. However, the real highlight was the Pad Thai with beef. This dish was nothing short of a masterpiece. The noodles were cooked impeccably, and the beef was both tender and flavorful. The sauce truly made this Pad Thai unforgettable; it was rich, perfectly balanced, and embodying both sweetness and sourness. Every bite was a delight, and I found myself wanting more. I was also impressed by the speed of service. My food arrived at the table remarkably quickly after I placed my order, allowing me to enjoy my meal without any unnecessary waits. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, creating a pleasant dining experience. I especially appreciated the availability of sriracha and chili sauce on each table, which allowed me to adjust the spice level to my liking—a thoughtful addition that enhanced my meal. In summary, my visit to No Thai! was a delightful culinary adventure filled with amazing flavors. The Thai Fried Rice with chicken and Pad Thai with beef were absolutely sensational, with the sauces being the true stars. If you love Thai cuisine and want to enjoy authentic and delicious dishes, No Thai! should be on your list. The combination of fantastic food, quick service, and a tidy atmosphere makes it a top choice for anyone eager to savor the tastes of Thailand. I’m already looking forward to my next visit for another mouthwatering experience!"
