"I made reservations at 8:30 p.m. Arrived early at 7 p.m., let hostess know we were there. Sat at bar for drinks. Took over 1/2 hour to get a first drink. One drink was awful; one was good. Ordered two more of the good drinks, took another 1/2 hour to get second drinks. Bartender was working too hard, restaurant was obviously understaffed for holiday. At 8:35 told hostess that we were still waiting to be seated. She told me there were four tables ahead of us. Why, I asked, if we had reservations, would there be that many still ahead of us? (No answer). She told us it would be at least 15 minutes. Went back to bar, ordered two more of the good drinks. At 9 p.m., I went back to hostess, a different hostess this time, who told me that there were now 8 tables ahead of us and that it would be at least 1/2 hour wait. How is this possible, I asked, that we made reservations for 8:30 p.m. on Valentines Day and we are now told that we have to wait until at least 9:30 (and, how the number of tables before us had increased was never explained). Undaunted, I went back to the bar, and at 9:10 our third round of drinks still hadn 't arrived. At about 9:15, the hostess unexpectedly arrived, showed us to our table. Waiter was rushed and seemed confused. We ordered the Valentine 's specials. Waiter took our order, only to return about 10 mins. later to tell us that the entree I 'd ordered (steak and potatoes) was out . I ordered another (pasta and shrimp, for which I was expected to pay extra). When I asked the waiter about our appetizer, he said he 'd check on it; instead, another server appeared after our dinner had already arrived to tell us that the appetizer (mushrooms) were no longer available, we had to order something else. The appetizer (calimari) we received between dinner and dessert was overcooked and unappetizing. Fortunately, our 3rd round of drinks showed up with the calimari, so, by that time, the drinks were welcomed. Not a good night."

"This was incredibly rude, especially considering the stereotype about the younger generation lacking respect. We expressed our discomfort, but the older individuals blocking our exit did not budge, even though they weren’t meant to be seated there in the first place. I really wish management had intervened; it was astonishing how inconsiderate these people were, trapping us in our space and being extremely loud. When I pointed out their rudeness, they simply ignored me. Eventually, the manager moved our table, but then it seemed that even more people from their group started joining the area. I was really taken aback by how unaware some people can be regarding personal space. Unfortunately, management did not address the situation. We ordered appetizers and drinks before happy hour ended at 7 PM, with our reservation at 6 PM. However, it wasn't until 7:15 that we received the last of our appetizers. On top of that, we never even received the complimentary bread we asked for multiple times. We were aware they had misplaced our orders because, after an hour, the staff mentioned they had “just put them in.” Our bread ended up at another table, and a group that arrived a half hour after us got their bread before we did. The service was painfully slow, and our waiter initially didn’t apply the happy hour prices correctly, so he had to re-enter the order, yet the final amount was still inaccurate. He claimed to take $18.50 off our bill, but when we went from a previous total of $89 to $76, it just didn’t add up. Ultimately, my friend ended up paying the bill because the service was so slow that we were eager to leave. She has the receipt as proof. They should have submitted all our orders before 7, but, of course, they forgot that like they forgot our bread and appetizers. Honestly, we should have received some compensation for the terrible experience, the forgetfulness, the incorrect total on our check, and the invasion of our space by that group. It was a disappointing experience, especially since we had hoped to celebrate my friend’s birthday in a much better manner. I hope you take this feedback seriously and reach out to us to apologize and rectify the situation. Please do better."
