"We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! We visited for a family dinner and found the staff to be quick and attentive. The food was exquisite and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was vibrant and cheerful. The only challenge was finding parking, but luckily there is a large parking lot behind the restaurant. I typically don't enjoy sushi, so I opted for the ramen, but after sampling their delicious tiger roll and other sushi dishes, I am now eager to try more sushi in the future. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience."

"Not happy. Was surprised that the place was very clean. Food wise, expensive. Deep fried potato is $3.49 for 1? Seriously. For that amount you should get 2 to 4, and they were barley 2 1/2 inches round and greasy. The egg rolls were small too. $3.49 for 2 small egg rolls. I had the chicken and beef bowl. The beef was ok but as for the chicken, it was over cooked and dry. There wasn't enough sauce to juice it up. And then when asking for sweet teriyaki sauce, they wouldn't give it to you. I get told they don't have that, but yet, thats whats on the dish when served. But when I got the regular teriyaki sauce, the packets were ok, but from the dispenser, it was more thick and sticky then syrup at IHOP. Chance eating there if you want, but to me, the meals, and side's are over priced"

"Delicious food paired with excellent service! I was warmly welcomed upon arrival. I ordered the Regular Chicken Teriyaki Bowl along with a medium drink. My meal was served right at my table, which was a nice touch. The Chicken Teriyaki Bowl was served hot, fresh, and full of flavor, with a generous amount of teriyaki sauce. The restaurant itself was clean and well-organized; I even noticed an employee tidying up the lobby while I was dining. The drink station was also clean and fully stocked. "As I approached the counter, the gentleman behind it seemed like he didn't want to be there. I ordered my food, large chicken and beef bowl, even left a tip. Order totaled $12.88. I found out I accidentally locked my door of my truck with keys stillinside. Called roadside and waited inside. After about 50min, I decided to just eat there. That's when I noticed I received allchicken. Went to counter at let someone know, they questioned why it's been almost an hour that I brought it back. I explainedand was told I had to email district manager. Now, it does state on receipt, which I've never seen any where else before, that employees cannot issue refunds or remake food . So I guess if right off the bat, you're order is screwed up, well, you aresol. Seems odd that employees can mess up your order, then not be held accountable at that moment. Odd way of running a store. Imanage a national pizza store and I do know how people can scam you, but you take it case to case. I did contact this stores DMand last email I received was to ask which store I visited, nothing since. Thus, I learned my lesson....no more. Also,unpleasant odor when entering establishment."

"So, when we visited the restaurant, there was no cocktail menu available. They were in the process of updating their drink selection and could only provide well drinks. We ordered a Philadelphia roll, a crunchy spring roll, and a dynamite roll, but honestly, we couldn't tell them apart at all. When the bill arrived, I left a tip for our server. However, when I checked my bank account the next day, I was shocked to see that they charged me not only for the total of our meal but also added the tip, resulting in a total of $155 for a meal that should have only cost $70! I highly recommend avoiding this place unless you want to be overcharged for simply trying to leave a tip."

"Called in the other evening to place an order. Dude picks up unprofessionally with just, Hello? I confirm it 's Hong 's and he asks me to hold. 15 minutes later I 'm still on hold as I walk into the place with 3 employees and a single customer and ask who left me on hold. Tall guy immediately starts apologizing saying it was busy yet all three were standing at the front waiting for customers. The short, dark dude who actually picked up agrees and when confronted about why he left me on hold, said nothing as tall guy tried to apologize again, but doesn 't accept responsibility for leaving me on hold and standing around. I ask one more time and a dude I 'm familiar with says it was him, even though thats not how he answers. I highly recommend learning how to professionally answer phones and not to upset regular customers that 'll no longer be going to this establishment. Thanks for the needless disrespect and money in my pocket"

"There was two hairs in my white rice and also I requested for brown rice and they gave me white rice. I ordered the chicken place doordashed it came super quickly so I was happy about that. They gave me my dressing and sauce on the side which I appreciated but it was less enjoyable when the rice was white (as I requested brown) and that there were two hairs. I didn’t order extra chicken but they gave me extra chicken, which I guess is positive because I didn’t pay more for it but also the rest of the meal put a downer on it. The vegetable skewer was pretty good and fresh. The summer greens and cabbage salad were good. The whole meal Tasted pretty average. Like mall food court chicken teriyaki the price was fine, but I felt 4/10 satisfied after my meal. Wouldn’t come back again."

"Not the best experience. I was picking up an order for me and co-workers who also share punch cards for their visit. Well, we placed an order for 2 separate order and handed the gentleman our punch cards. He said it was only 1 per visit. Which we are picking up 2 different orders.. the gentleman wouldn’t allow us both to receive a punch on our “punch cards”. Apparently, my co-workers need to pick up her own order, in order to receive a punch on her “loyalty punch card” due to policy.Very disappointing experience..We come to this location here at least twice a week. It’s never been an issue before.. my thought is, if it’s a “policy” it should be enforced in the beginning not after 12 visits..Better customer service or even an apology for the inconvenience would have been nice."

"If I could rate this place zero stars, I absolutely would. The rainbow roll was average at best, and the chicken noodle soup was overly salty and lacked flavor. "Living in CA most of my life so I really didn't think Sushi in AZ would be good. To my surprise, this place has many really delicious snacks! I had the Lion King role that BOMB was! The tempura was really crispy and the tempura sauce is its own special concoction. I also need to meet the owners Teresa and John. Teresa was next to us at the table and I heard her training one of her people. I was really impressed how well they train their employees by creating a friendly atmosphere by stimulating their work ethics. John brought out our food and he was an absolute joy. A total gentleman and you can tell him he had so much pride in his store. This will definitely be my stop every time I go to Phoenix. It is not only good for the price, but good, just because it is good!!!"

"I feel like this place used to be a little bit better but it's still all right. The staff seem friendly enough and a close-knit group. I wouldn't be surprised if they were family but I don't think they are. Ordering ahead is okay but there's some dollar limit where they will insist on paying first. I don't really like that but I do understand if they've been left with unsold food I can get why they do this but I'm not really happy giving out credit card information over the phone and I don't want to order when I'm there and then have to wait. So it gives me a mixed opinion hence the middle of the road review.The chicken teriyaki is pretty tasty if you ask for extra sauce they no longer just give you a container they give you a little packets of stuff that's not as nice as them adding it directly or little containers. I feel like whatever is in those packets can't be particularly fresh. That is a minor knit. They also offer a beef teriyaki and a combo. And they also do some kind of sushi My kids like to get the sushi roll bowl and it's okay. There's a lot of rice so you're going to end up with a lot of carbs if you eat the whole thing.To be clear notwithstanding my three-star review I've gone here pretty often it's reliably okay and they seem to be pretty careful about cross-contamination in the food so if you have allergies ask about it but we haven't had problems. And that's something worth pointing out."

"The bowls were very good, however the salad was not as described. Their side salad consists of a fist fill of spring mix (which is bitter) and according to staff is the base for most of their salads. The description for their salads says they are served with romaine iceberg lettuce, carrots, red cabbage, tomato, crunchy noodles and sesame ginger dressing. However, their side salad has no description and they do not tell you prior to ordering that is just a spring mix with their sesame dressing. Gross. The iceberg and romaine lettuce make the sesame dressing work. Bitter spring mix does not. I ordered this to go and didn 't notice this until I got home. I called the next day and all the staff did was argue that this was what they served, even though I was looking for them to clarify this with patrons in the future. Misleading. If you want a good rice bowl though, this is the place. Meat and teriyaki sauce was good. Service, other than management 's inability to satisfy a customer and make clarifications regarding their salads in the future, was also good. I 'll be back as they are generally a good place for take out, I just won 't be paying $2.99 for a bunch of bitter lettuce."

"Seriously, don't risk eating here!! This photo is a cup of diet Pepsi!! Thankfully I saw the black gunk on the cup before my kid drank it. We dumped out the soda only to find it's full of this stuff!! My best guess is MOLD. Do NOT trust the food here!!! If this is the state of the soda machine, under no circumstances should you be eating sushi here!! Oh, and when I showed it to the kid at the counter, he just said yeah, don't drink that. Didn't even offer to refund me for the clearly undrinkable beverage. "Just don't go, just don't. The food has been okay in the past, nothing has ever been good, just okay. Tried to grab a quick bite before a film couple of days ago it was rough. We ordered and we're the only ones there, over the next 25-30 minutes we waited as two other orders came in, and waited, granted only two people were working, this was a Friday night. Finally our food comes and the chicken teriyaki was hard and overcooked, katsu was also hard overcooked. After just stomaching what we could I went to the bathroom to wash up and holy whoa! The air in there was palpable, I could taste the odor it was shocking, if your business uses deep fryers you must clean your grease traps and plumbing! If you don't, your business will smell of rotten animal fat and sulfur. These aren't smells one wants to eat with. Food was underwhelming, odor was overwhelming."
