"Before visiting this restaurant, I must acknowledge some positives: the strawberry lemonade was refreshing, and my fried chicken was wonderfully spiced. The waffle with maple pecan spread was also enjoyable. However, there were significant downsides: don't come here if you have other commitments. I had to choose between Uptown and this place, and unfortunately, I made the wrong choice. The wait to be seated was incredibly long, and once we were seated, we spent 1.5 hours waiting with very little attention from the waitstaff. I was frustrated to see three waiters on duty, but our server seemed to be managing 75% of the restaurant. The mac and cheese had an overpowering herb flavor, and the cheese in my cheesy eggs was nearly non-existent—it felt like the cheese was merely used to flavor the eggs and the dish was overly salty. I’ve given a 2-star rating because the waiters did their best to serve my party, and the entire restaurant had decent service, plus I enjoyed the chicken."
