"Well coming from the East Coast and really not expecting the same but I thought it would be close NOT!!! the food was just not tasteful at all the fries were literally luke warm...ugh and you would think since you have to wait on your food it would be hot. The cheesesteak was even warm with a small bit of an odd odor. Even though I took a bite out of the sandwich to try it it was just horrible I will not be going here ever ever again and it was so unfortunate being I love to always support my black businesses but come on at least provide good quality food which this was not I ended up just throwing the whole meal away in the trash!!! "This was my second visit to the restaurant. During my first experience, I wasn't particularly impressed, but I thought I'd give them another chance. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake. It was the worst $30 I've ever spent. The crab was dry, and there was barely any meat in the top part of the cluster. The shrimp had a rubbery texture, the corn was overcooked, and the potatoes were undercooked. The sausage link was lacking in flavor, and everything was served cold. It's surprising how they could get the entire order wrong. People want to support local businesses, but they also need to put forth their best effort. There’s definitely a lot of room for improvement!"

"This was my first time trying this place as my cousin wanted something simple for his birthday dinner and it was really good. I enjoyed the cheesesteaks. The steak was seasoned and you got plenty. I also liked the chicken philly as well. The lemon pepper wings were my favorite. They were seasoned well and crispy!! If they were a little closer, I'd definitely choose their wings over wingstop. The young man Joshua that works there was very nice and helpful when ordering."

"Ray's is our go to bbq spot in Desoto. They have delicioussss baked potatoes! There's nothing that compares to them. Make sure you call and order those ahead of time as they take a while to cook or are sometimes even sold out. The barbecue sauce is well seasoned and tasty. The turkey legs are steaming hot so be careful. The workers are kind and try to get to know their customers. The place is small, but there are plenty of booths and tables to dine in."

"I leave ONE star because no stars will not get my point across. For my great nieces 13 birthday this was one of the stops. An employee, maybe the owner, not sure...basically turned off her open sign and said we close at eight. WHILE part of our party wasSTILL eating! It's not like we walked in at 8:00 or five minutes til 8:00, it was a tad past 7:00! ...I have NEVER experiencedsuch rudeness! NEVER AGAIN! And MA'AM, you need some customer service skills! Update: The owner has addressed the issue and Iwill give them another try. The food is very good and the young lady at the front counter was very sweet. Thanks to the ownerfor addressing."
