"This was my uncles Recommendation and it was fabulous...I had the “South Point Island Burger,” the beef is grass fed and organic and it tasted amazing and fresh.. It came with cheddar cheeses, avocado, barbecue sauce and onion rings. If I had 1 critique it was the barbecue sauce was dabbed on and I knew to get the full flavor of the burger, I had to ask for more sauce. Once I took a bite and tasted this flavor I had no choice but to give this place 5 stars. The price was fair at about $13 to $16 per burger with 1 side. This ambiance at night along with the food make it deserving of 5 stars. Make sure you ask for a table at the end of the restaurant where you can look out and see the open sky, island trees and here frogs in the background ...Truly an island experience. PS...The bamboo tree coming through the floor was pretty amazing!"

Delicious burgers- so fresh. Also such a great spot with the large open windows, fresh breeze, kind staff, and AMAZING selections on the menu. Plenty of options for the whole family!

We highly recommend the BBQ burger! The onion rings are a must and try the basil garlic fries for a delicious rendition on a classic! The firecracker was spicy, but get some BBQ to put on it for an awesome mix and match! View menu

Best hamburger and taro burger we ever ate. Vegetable toppings all local and yummy. Chef made fresh made pickles from Japanese cucumber. Fresh hand cut french fries, delicately cooked to perfection. Purple potato salad with red potato skins, Parsley and hint of celery. Local grass fed beef. Crispy taro patty. Onolicious!!

Loved my Steakhouse Burger which was juicy and delicious. My wife was happy with her Mango Chicken Salad but as it was fresh but she felt like she had to hunt for the chicken a bit. Staff was friendly, ambiance was nice. Where else do you get palm trees coming up though the floor and going out through the roof. Would return.

So I have been all over the US, I live in Austin Texas but Annie's has the best burger I have ever had. One of the experiences in life were I didn't want to share with family but could not have others not taste the moist astoundingly made burger. I could eat here every day for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy. Absolutely great job and keep it up. View menu

Yum. And open later than most places in the area... We were starting to worry about finding dinner at all. Food is consistently good with fresh ingredients. Even the special drinks (with or without alcohol) are fresh. Easy to find and park. The staff is always friendly and have given us great tips on the area too. We love sitting by the big open windows for a breeze!

Annie’s burgers are AMAZING! Anyone who goes to the big island has to stop here. The vegan taro burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what taro is but the way they prepared it is amazing. The rest of my family loved their regular burgers. The onion rings were also great. The hard homemade lemonade was really good. The drinks were a little pricey but they were so strong it made up for it.

"Gypsea Gyleto was recommended as a place we try out while on the big island by our Air BNB host. We checked out reviews from Google and Yelp. It came across as a worthy place to try.I/we have tried Gelato from various places around globe. Unfortunately, this review receives a flat three based on the Gelato itself alone. We tried 7 different flavors. All, simply were not near the flavor or the creamy smooth texture in which Gelato is supposed to be. It had more of a freezer burnt ice cream cruncy texture. It just was not what I would expect Gelato to taste like. All flavors were under flavored as well.It saddens me to give such a low review as the majority of my reviews are four star or above. (the majority are five star with recommendations and compliments.)The rest of Gypesea Gelato was great. From the atmosphere, cleanliness and friendly employees. The presentation of the Gelato was great! However the texture and taste just was not right. It really is a nice place to visit. (the vibe etc.)I just cannot get over the fact that the Gelato as a whole simply wasn't made correctly. Hense the three star review. I'd give a 3.5 star, but Google won't allow it.My recommendation would be for the owners to visit Europe to see what it should be. The. other Gelato places outside of the islands to get a good idea of what should taste and feel like in your mouth.Good gelato is not cheap which is expected. However, in this case I would pay HALF the price purely based on the poor quality of the Gelato.I'd be happy to raise my review once the recipe is revised and every Gelato doesn't have that freezer burnt feel and some flavors even taste just cheap. Also get rid of the cheap black couches with card board signs on them with holes in them. (saying they are free for anyone who will take them). It's just tacky. They do not suit the epic, cool, clean, vibe atmosphere"
