"My best friend and I was so excited to finally try Casa Tulum especially with all the “raving reviews” and we were so disappointed. First off the restaurant is SMALL. The pictures make it seem like it is bigger than what it really is. But still a nice space, beautiful layout too! I'll give them that they definitely created a stunning replica of Tulum as you really are transported there! Despite having such a gorgeous decor, the food and drinks were just nasty. The guacamole starter was in a tiny child size bowl, with a handful of chips. That surprised us, but at least it was fresh. We both ordered the steak and it was blah. The home fries were over cooked, there was a weird extra sweet sauce mixed in with another sauce on the plate that just wasn't sitting right with our stomach and it seemed to be the same sweet seasoning for the rice and beans we were not fans of it at all. I ordered the watermelon margarita and it was a beautiful fresh watermelon tease in the first sip but then that Smokey char flavor just slammed the back of my throat, it was too much and just horrible. For the bill it was NOT worth the money AT ALL, we regret going here."

Luis was an outstanding waiter, and I can't thank him enough. This place is fantastic for any occasion, and it's perfect for having a conversation.

Wow, this place has an amazing atmosphere! With new management and a revamped menu, it's a complete turnaround. I've eaten so much that I can't order anything else, but I definitely plan to come back!

Went their for my birthday for cinco de mayo and the service was terrible. On top of that, they had a limited menu without advising prior. Food was good but the restaurant overall was subpar in service, ambience and quality. No thank you. View menu

We got the ceviche, grace, Al pastor tacos and fish tacos. The ceviche talcum was good. Guac fresh but such a small serving for 16 bucks think chipotle side). The tacos were so disappointing. Cooked well and so pretty but taste was so blah.

Utterly disappointed coming from jersey at that wanting to take myself on a self date. Place was not what I expected it to be , ate my tacos in a matter of seconds how small portioned they were how hungry I was. My waiter tried to kiss me after having basic polite convo. Left disappointed , frustrated still hungry.

The experience was disappointingly average. My boyfriend and I visited on 5/12/23 for dinner. We started with ceviche, which had large chunks of shrimp and tomatoes, served with just two small, circular hard tortillas. It was difficult to eat with such big pieces, especially since we only had one tortilla each. I ordered the asada tacos, which were basically just small tortillas filled with chunks of steak. My boyfriend opted for the lamb shoulder, and it was simply a large piece of meat on the plate. We ended up leaving still hungry. It was quite disappointing. View menu

We received food that didn’t belong to us, and when they switched the orders, they ended up taking our meals away. They attempted to clear our plates three times while we were still eating. After the third attempt, I informed the server that we weren’t finished, but she continued to stack our plates. This was completely unacceptable. There was no reason for the rush since the restaurant had plenty of open tables. The food quality was inconsistent, and the lighting and acoustics were quite poor. To make matters worse, no compensation has been offered for our disappointing experience.

I actually made a reservation here to celebrate my friend 's birthday as a fluke...reserved the wrong restaurant but it was too late to back out. Sigh of relief when I walked in as the place looked as trendy and charming as it did online. We ordered two plates to share..one being sweet (enfrijoladas which has plantains) and the other savory (chilaquiles verdes). Food was decent but nothing that blew me out of the water. During our meal, our waitress were attentive to check in sporadically without being overbearing. Though when I was waiting for my friend, they asked me the same question twice about what drinks I needed so that felt a bit much..also, when it came to getting their attention to...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
