"We explained that we had just driven for over 45 minutes and didn’t have an alternative place to eat, and while we were okay with a longer wait, we really wanted a table. The dining area had several empty tables, but we were still denied. The staff member we spoke with was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Left with no other options, we reluctantly placed a carryout order. To our frustration, the bill included a gratuity charge. We were outraged and asked why we were being charged for gratuity when we were forced to eat in a cold parking lot. The staff claimed it was for their service, which we found absurd. To make matters worse, the manager was unhelpful and refused to assist us. When we finally received our order, it was incorrect—part of it was missing, and we received the wrong burger. At this point, we were extremely frustrated. We had driven 45 minutes only to eat a meal we didn’t order in a chilly parking lot, and we were forced to tip on top of it. I went in to speak with someone at the front desk, who informed me that the restaurant operates as a third party and that they had no control over it. This was not my first negative experience at this establishment; we had issues during our previous stay a year ago. After this latest incident, I will not be returning to stay or eat here again."

The best food on the mountain, hands down! The chicken with pesto is always one of my favorites!

The food at the restaurant was terrible and significantly overpriced. The Chicken Alfredo tasted like burnt chicken.

The food was quite satisfactory, and they offered a good variety of beers. I would suggest visiting if you're nearby.

Food was old and stale. My kids didn't like even the free popcorn at the front door. We paid $80 for nasty food. Sad as it's one of the only places in Brian head. View menu

They no longer provide any vegan options aside from salad. It seems that they previously had some nice selections, but that's no longer the case. I'm very disappointed.

I'm really not picky and I wasn't expecting much from here. But this food is actually terrible. If you are staying here, it's very worth it to just hop in the car and eat somewhere else. This is one cut into a $40 plate. Jokes on me I guess.

The restaurant was extremely pricey and lacked any real ambiance. When we visited for dinner in October 2022, my wife and I were the only patrons, aside from an elderly couple. It felt like we were dining in a mausoleum. To make matters worse, the chef didn’t even take the time to check in with us about our meal. View menu

The experience was disappointing. Although there aren't many options in the area, this restaurant was only mediocre at best. The food resembled basic bar fare but came at a premium price. While the staff was friendly, they were not very accommodating, especially for a large group in an otherwise empty restaurant.

When it came time to order, we were excited for pizza and wings, but our hopes were dashed when we learned they hadn't served wings in five years. This was surprising since there were multiple recent posts praising their wings. Those should probably be removed. We ended up ordering burgers instead. Although they looked promising, they were overcooked to the point where they tasted burnt, and my friend's burger didn't even have the chipotle mayo on it, leaving him disappointed. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and we won’t be returning. The two stars are just for the bartender, who was friendly, but the overall experience was underwhelming.

"I can't be comparing this restaurant to other Thai restaurants back at home since the availability is way different but I can say it's decent Thai food. After having a bad experience at a restaurant nearby, my family and I opted for this alternative since 1. We love asian food, and 2. You can never go wrong with Thai food. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who told us his wife that does all the cooking. You get table service but it's also self serve for drinks. The owner informed us he will be cleaning up tables so if we wanted to grab our drinks, we were more than welcomed to. I felt like I worked there grabbing all the waters and condiments for our meals lol. Bacon wrapped enoki: must try! I've never had fried enoki mushrooms so it was intriguing. It comes with a shallot/chili vinaigrette and it's not spicy unless you bite on one of the chopped chilies inside the dish. Chicken yellow curry plate: For $13, it was pricier than I was used to for Thai food but this portion was shareable. We were given a large bowl of curry and a large portion of rice my SO and I were full after sharing this dish and the bacon wrapped enoki appetizers. Curry was creamy with potatoes and a lot of chicken. We had pieces of chicken with every bite. Thai sausage: It's a mild curried sausage with lemongrass and other spices inside the meat. Good with rice, soy sauce and sriracha. There's also hooks around the tables to hang your snowboarding jacket or heavy coats before you settle down to have a meal."

"I came here last weekend on a bachelorette trip. I know, Brian Head for a bachelorette trip is a little odd, but it was actually a ton of fun. We stayed at the condos across the street so decided to walk over here and grab a late lunch and some beers. Even though it was the lunchtime rush, we didn't wait too long for a table. There was ten of us total so I was surprised they were able to put something together that quickly. The restaurant is located upstairs and the kitchen is downstairs so if you're waiting for a table, step to the side so you don't get hit with a tray haha. The servers are pretty good at warning you to get out of the way though. Since it was one of my best friend's bachelorette parties, I tried to order her a shot of whiskey as soon as we got there. Even though photos on Yelp show an old menu of whiskey's, they actually do not have any hard alcohol here. It's all beer, white claws, and ciders. Our server, Jimmy, recommended the apricot beer so we got an entire pitcher of that! It was delicious and definitely a great recommendation. We loved having Jimmy as our server! We decided to order some bites to share and got some quesadillas. The food wasn't the most spectacular, but again, we had some great service. Jimmy did disappear for a bit, but I'm assuming it was because the place was packed! So no hard feelings there. Also, it was insanely cheap here! We came back here at night, too, after going night tubing. They had live music playing and it was a lot of fun! We grabbed some beers and sat by the fire outside where they had a speaker so you could still hear the live band."

"Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the front desk staff. The gentleman we encountered was short with us and came across as rude. This impression extended to my 12-year-old son, who returned frustrated after receiving no help. When we inquired about checkout time, he said "noonish." My son clarified by asking if that meant 12 PM, to which the staff member simply repeated "yeah, noonish." The next morning, we received a call around 11:45 AM asking why we hadn’t checked out yet. Additionally, the bathroom door was broken, sliding open unexpectedly, which made it impossible to shower or use the restroom in privacy. The beds were the most uncomfortable we encountered during our travels, despite this being the only luxury hotel we stayed in; the others were more like Holiday Inns. We were looking forward to the pool, but the waterfall feature was never turned on, and the indoor hot tub was out of order. Overall, our stay was disappointing. **Rooms:** The rooms were spacious and well laid out, but unfortunately, the beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom didn’t lock, and the cabinet handles kept coming off when we tried to use it for the refrigerator. **Nearby Activities:** There are beautiful trails nearby for hiking and exploration. **Walkability:** While there are other hotels and a convenience store close by, this resort felt somewhat isolated."

"This place is now called the Grand Steakhouse and I don't think I have ever had a meal that was so awful. We were staying at the Best Western which was just recently renovated and read a review here saying the restaurant was under new management so we thought we would stay local and enjoy a nice dinner. I was looking for a something light and healthy so I ordered the salmon. You should never have to use a knife when eating salmon. Even the rice it came with was shockingly overcooked and tasted like watery paste. The asparagus was fine but none of the dish had any sort of flavor except for a small pat of butter which even had no taste to it. My husband ordered the ribs and again, he had to use a knife to separate the meat from the bone and he said the sauce tasted like pizza sauce. The only redeeming part of the meal was our son's burger and fries. Not outstanding but not awful either. We also received great service from our waiter. These three dishes and a glass of wine ended up costing us $85!! I realized later, the salmon and ribs were probably cooked in a microwave which would explain why they were so tough and the salmon had no color to it. To add insult to injury, I found out after we had left that they overcharged me for my under-filled glass of white wine. I am the type of person that doesn't like to complain but after paying so much money for food that was basically inedible and then being overcharged for my wine, I felt I had to let the restaurant know about the issues. There were only two people working that evening. Our waiter and whoever was in the kitchen. I let the waiter know about the overcharge and the how disappointing our food was. He called the owner to see what to do about refunding the difference on the wine. As it turns out, it was their POS system that had the price wrong. The only solution the waiter could offer was to give me the difference from his own pocket!! I told him I was not about to take his money as he did his job well and shouldn't have to suffer because the computer system was messed up. He said it was the only solution he had unless I wanted to wait until they could update the computer system and then they could refund my credit card but this could take a while! I told him it wasn't worth the $3 to wait for all of that but I wanted to stress that there was a problem with the food and with their POS system and they needed to be addressed. I can't speak for their breakfast service as we refused to spend another dime there after our dinner experience. If you want a ho hum expensive burger try this place, otherwise, pass."
