"Took my wife there for our anniversary tonight, along with my daughter and her husband. We had the clam bake, spaghetti and meat balls. the barrow burger and chicken marcella. I ate 2 mouthful's of the chicken marcella and I was done. The linquine was saturated with the sauce which was unlike any other marcella sauce i have had and it was over powering and not good. My daughter took a bite of her hamburger and saw that i did not like my meal at all and asked if I wanted her hamburger because she didn't want it. I tried a bite and gave it back to her. She asked what I thought and I said it was the worst burger I have ever eaten. She laughed and said she agreed. It was red inside it and tasted like it was a frozen burger that was pre cooked and sitting on the side of the grill and warmed up. It really wasn't good. A waitress asked if we wanted boxes and my daughter said no and I said no. She picked up the uneaten hamburger and uneaten chicken marcella and said sorry you did not like it. Never asked about the uneaten hamburger. No one came by and asked how our meals were after they were brought out. Of course they charged for all four meals even though two meals were bad enough that they were not eaten and no one wanted to bring them home. A waste of my money. Will not go back."

"This review might be a bit late, but it's still heartfelt. This place consistently delivers excellence EVERY SINGLE TIME. Great food, attentive service, wonderful atmosphere, and reasonable prices. I ordered a waffle and asked if they had "real" maple syrup. They didn't, but my server (I apologize for forgetting your name, but you know who you are!) generously shared her personal bottle of real maple syrup with me! WHO DOES THAT??? Only the servers at Jim's, that's who! If you're one of the few who haven't visited yet, definitely give it a try. And don't forget to ring the bell when you leave!"

"Wife and I went in for dinner on a Saturday night. Atmosphere was lively but still had space for us. We ordered the Lake House Rum Punch (out of this world) and the Apple Cinnamon Old Fashion. We started with the Crab-Sweet Corn Fritters with lemon aioli. For main course we got the Crispy Maple Chicken Sandwich with Cole Slaw and House Fries (battered) as well as the Buoy Burger (medium) with the same sides. Slaw is wet, my wife loved it and does not particularly care for slaw. The burger was flavorful as well as super tender and juicy. Chix Sammy was good, I prefer more maple but the wife is more on the mild side. For dessert, we had the Cookie Butter Banana Pie which is definitely a deal at only $8!"

"The place is inviting and decorated nicely. Unfortunately the food was a little lacking. It came out just above room temperature ten minutes after ordering. Super fast but I would expect hot for that speed assuming they are using microwaves or a hot welland almost no one else was in the restaurant. I got the enchilada sampler. It all tasted good except the chicken which was halfa breast stuffed in a shell not shredded. Because of that it needed lots more sauce. We ate quickly not to complain but had aproblem flagging down someone to close out. They seemed to not want to make eye contact. Also I find it completelyunprofessional for any employee to be walking around with ear buds on especially when trying to get someone's attention"
