"We visited this Coldstone while in Folsom. Hands down the worst service we’ve ever received at a Coldstone. The young man helping us was rude and seemed like he didn’t want to be there. When asked if they had sweet cream ice cream, he said, “I don’t understand what you’re saying.” When asked if the pecans are whole or crushed, he shrugged and said, “I don’t know.” Seriously? My wife and mom said he must be slow or “special.” Ok, maybe… so, when he handed my wife her pistachio ice cream that was so soft it was practically like a milkshake in a cup, I was done. I walked over to the lady owner and asked if “that worker” is slow because if so I want to be sensitive to that. She said no, he isn’t. I explained he’s been rude since we walked in and doesn’t seem like he wants to help us. She goes on to explain, “He has a really bad cold and wants to go home.” …………….I do want to recognize the assistant manager who was so friendly and took charge to get my wife a new pistachio ice cream that was frozen, not mush. Great attitude and was hustling the whole time on online orders, I believe."

We just left the restaurant after being greeted by a girl in the back at 3:58 PM. We waited 10 minutes, but she never came out to serve us. The service was terrible, so we decided to leave and head to Handel's Ice Cream instead.

I came in today and experienced the most kind and positive customer service I have had in a while. Two of the workers made great conversation and were very positive even through a rush. They were very fast but I did not feel rushed. I believe their names were Aaron and Chrystine.

I ordered a waffle bowl with Boo batter and the trick-or-treat mix. We even pointed to the picture in the advertisement to show exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately, the employee seemed to be a trainee and didn’t know how to make it properly. The ice cream was more like soup! We decided to take it home and put it in the freezer. Been coming here for about 7 years now since I moved to Folsom. Many different (more fancy modern or famous) ice cream shops have opened over those years. What keeps me coming back to this Cold Stone creamery is the Staff! They have some of the nicest people working here. After not seeing Ally who was working tonight for a year she remembered my order. May seem small to some but means a lot to me. And also Love their Almond Milk chocolate ice cream!

Our family of four visited the ice cream shop, eager to enjoy some treats. There were three groups of two ahead of us, but the employee assisting them seemed quite capable. We noticed at least one person in the back who wasn't attending to customers, likely handling other administrative tasks. Then, another employee arrived from outside, and the competent worker stepped away, leaving the new employee in charge of the growing line behind us. Unfortunately, this employee moved incredibly slowly, causing us to only order 2 out of the 4 desserts we wanted because we felt embarrassed by the long wait and sensed that everyone in the shop was watching us.
