"We brought a large group in to buy ice cream tonight after the high school graduation. My 70 year old mother asked to use the restroom and they told us no. They said the restroom closed at 9:00 although the store was still open and serving food! We asked 2 different people a total of 4 times and told them we had a group pf 10 paying customers. They didn’t care and refused to let my mother use the restroom. We left without ordering anything. We will not return."

"The server Abby was rude. She didn’t know how to ring up a coupon that was buy one, get one free. She said, “You either get $4.38 off or you get nothing”. Pretty simple coupon. "ABSOLUTE worst COLDSTONE I’ve been to. Avoid short kid with glasses very rude wow. I will pasty same review from yelp: I came to pick up a DoorDash order. Two guys working l ask nicely about the order, but they ignore me. I wait, but still no answer. I understand when store is busy, but there was no line. I was the only one there. It felt like they treat me bad because of how I speak. This feel like racism. I am working hard like everybody. I have video of how they act and I will be contacting corporate. This is not okay. Also, I check after the reviews for this location are very bad. Now I understand why. I recommend going to a different ice cream place in the mall. Don't support this one. The ride worker is short and had glasses will be sending the video to corporate."

"I visited the Deer Park location for the first time this past hot Sunday to pick up my $65 online order, which included German Chocolate Cake, Berry Berry Berry Good, and Surrender to Strawberry! My order was ready right when I arrived, and one of the friendly and professional employees handed it to me. The interior was spotless and well-organized, buzzing with satisfied customers! I will definitely return to this location for my ice cream cravings in the future!"

"Cold Stone is my favorite spot for ice cream and brownies. Today, I treated my best friend to some ice cream. However, I had a frustrating experience. As someone with a speech impairment and being a senior, I struggled to communicate my order. Unfortunately, the server was impatient and disrespectful; she yelled at me, saying that if I wasn’t ready to order, she wouldn’t take my order. It's disappointing because if she had better customer service skills and empathy for my condition, I would still support Cold Stone. However, I'll be avoiding the Hayward location due to their lack of sensitivity. My experience was truly awful."

"I am pretty tired of the owners of this Cold Stone! In the past I 've seen them ask kids (not the parents) if they want a cone which costs more money...right? Shouldn 't be that big of a deal but it 's annoying. Today our nanny took the kids here and the owner apparently scooped too much ice cream for the medium size that was ordered. She said to our nanny, I 'm going to put this in a larger bowl . Innocent enough until she charged my nanny for the large size. I find these kinds of practices distasteful and dishonest, and frankly makes me never want to go back. To the owners I say, grow up and run an honest business . To potential customers I say, watch these folks for dishonest behavior and don 't accept it ."

"The hours on google and when I called said they were open at 11. I showed up at 12:40 with 3 kids in 100 degree weather? the store sign said they opened at 1. Ok we tried to make the best out of a bad situation kids played red light green light? soby the time someone showed up (after 1) we were a hot mess. The lady was nice but we were struggling. There was a huge puddleof water inside, and I appreciate the lady worked to set up and serve us before cleaning that up, but it was a struggle to keepmy sweating 2 year old out of the water. When she started putting our orders together she put the ice cream in the cup and pourthe mix ins on top. I has to ask her to actually mix the mix ins. To her credit she did without arguing with me but it feltlike something I shouldn?t have had to ask for. When we went to check out I brought out a coupon I had been emailed from coldstone and she said they don?t accept coupons ???????????. Also she didn?t let enter my phone number for rewards not a huge dealbut compounded with all of the other things it was just too much. I will not be returning to this cold stone. It is worth thedrive over to Livermore."

"We placed a delivery order last week and once our ice cream arrived, I noticed they messed up my order and gave me double of the same thing. I was extremely disappointed as I was really looking forward to that chocolate-dipped strawberries ice cream. I immediately called and notified them of the mistake. Unfortunately, since I placed the order through door dash, the company refused to fix the mistake and send out another order. That being said, Cold Stone's manager and Sam took it upon themselves to make sure I was happy and Sam personally drove to my house to deliver my ice cream. Sam even included a hand written note apologizing for the mistake. Not only did they resolve the issue but they even gave me an upgraded size for free because of the mishap. This Cold Stone location has great staff and EXCELLENT customer service!! Thank you so much! :"

"This is my very first time to OH and I love cold stone ice cream so while I'm here I thought I was going to be able and grab some of my ice cream from my favorite place but today was one of my worst that I ever experience from a cold stone ice cream pollar first they didn't greet you when walking in the store secondly, the young lady was just wiping her nose and didn't go wash her hands and was ready to try to serve ice cream to me the second person in the store distant and knowledge. The person at all like you wasn't there for service. So overall, your employees need to be retrained on the hospitality and service of the title of their job"

"I tried ordering a Create my own Cake on-line, however it states Unless you order from the Ready For Pick Up Now category below, Cold Stone Cakes requires that you place online orders at least 24 hours in advance. If you have a rush order needed inless than 24 hours please call the store directly to order by phone. I called the Salinas store 11:15 am (see picture) Chris (he said his name was Chris) who answered the phone, he just said, No we need 24 hours. I explained to him that on thewebsite it states I can call. He repeated No we need 24 hours. I was not allowed to order the birthday cake for our daughter.???? I 've ordered 2 cakes (9/12/2020 2/10/2021) after this incident added 6 scoops of almonds in the ice cream. I orderedthe same ice cream cake for (3/8/2021) now John his manager say they only allow 3 scoops it will be .99 each for the 3extra scoops. It doesn 't state on the app they couldn 't tell me when the policy was changed ????"

I've never been informed that I couldn't have two separate scoops without mixing in the toppings. This has been my experience during my recent visits. "Customer service seems to be a major issue at this establishment. I ordered two scoops of different flavors and requested a mix-in topping for one of them. The young employee assisting me was noticeably unenthusiastic and simply refused my request, claiming, "It's too much work." I pointed out that the process is the same as any other order with a mix-in. He then offered to mix both flavors and toppings together, but insisted he couldn't add a mix-in to just one flavor. This is not only unreasonable but also requires the same effort. To make matters worse, the senior staff member working alongside him said nothing, allowing this employee to mislead customers. It's disappointing to see such a lack of professionalism."
