"I dropped in here after it changed hands, hoping that it had changed for the better. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The new owner was rather rude (I won 't use the term one of his staff used to describe him). I decided to cut things short and get a sandwich. This turned out to be a disastrous mistake. When I saw the kitchen hand attacking a slice of meat with what appeared to be some sort of equine castrating tool, I asked Why don 't you just slide it through the meat slicer ? Rip my tongue out. I was treated to a lengthy story about how someone named Kenny had recently stolen their meat slicer, and was apparently running a black market sliced meats ring on the mean streets of Bisbee, peddling his shaven wares to the highest bidders. I said well this Kenny dude must be quite strong, as those commercial slicers are heavy . The owner then ejected me from the premises for being argumentative. Moral of this story if you want a sandwich at this place, BYO slicer. Or better yet find Kenny."

Great BBQ, great drinks, and the staff is very nice! I had the Brisket plate, and it was the best that I've had!

Ok. Music is too loud. There's a patio area if you want to be outside. It's a nice historic space. The decor doesn't do it justice.

Wow, Mary is the best bartender! The Bloody Mary I had was absolutely delicious! I also appreciated the warm welcome from Princess, the dog.

Brisket tasted great. ribs horrible they tasted like they were boiled first and just not good so called baked beans pinto beans are absolutely disgusting. Potato was salad OK let's just say two bites was enough. Roll was hard. Service was ok. Bathroom was not so clean.....

It was fantastic! They serve the largest ham and cheese sandwich I've ever encountered. You genuinely need a knife and fork to tackle it. Just be sure to lock your car, as the area has quite a few sketchy individuals. One notably tall guy with a beard even approached me, trying to sell a meat slicer!

We arrived a bit late but were seated promptly, and our drink orders were taken immediately. The kitchen was still open, so we decided to order a couple of barbecue plates. Our drinks arrived quickly and were reasonably priced. We then moved to the patio for karaoke night and enjoyed the rest of our meal there. The food was delicious, and our bartender/server was very attentive. The views from the patio were fantastic! View menu

My wife and I stopped in here for a drink and bite to eat during a long weekend in Bisbee. Its a cool local joint with friendly staff and patrons. The pulled pork BBQ sandwiches (which they smoke right next door, tempting all who walk through that part of town to stop in) were good bar food. Unfortunately, they didn't have beer on tap while we were there but did mix up solid mixed drinks and have a decent selection of bottled beer.

I recently visited Bisbee for the first time and I've been wanting BBQ for a while now. I consulted with Yelp and found the Copper City Saloon. We were a party of 3. I ordered the Pulled Pork plate with cole slaw and ranch beans, the other 2 in the party went with the smoked wings 1 order of hot and 1 order of BBQ. The staff is certainly chummy with the locals though I didn't really feel like it impacted our service too much. As others have noted, the smoked wings have a very overpowering mesquite flavor some may like the mesquite flavor and I generally do too, but it was a little much and the skin on the wings is incredibly tough, pretty much inedible. My side of cole slaw was very dry but...

"My wife and I tried this place last night. We had heard some mixed reviews, but never about the food. Spoiler: We are going back soon. I had the half rack of ribs with French fries and a small salad. My wife had a Ruben sandwich and devoured it. The salad was simple with head lettuce, cut tomatoes, and cheese. It was small but fresh and very good. Later I was glad it was small as the ribs were incredible. With a choice of BBQ or a Burbon and molasses sauce, I chose the later. These were no babyback ribs with a little meat between the bones, this was a half rack of meat with some bones stuck in it! Some might call them St Louis or Kansas City style cuts, I just called them stupendous. The sauce was sweetish without being over bearing. The meat did not fall off the bone but gave way with a little coaxing. Just perfect. A warm damp towel provided with the meal was welcome and used between each rib after first licking the sauce off my fingers. Unfortunately I have little good to say about the fries. Thick cut with the peal on and lightly seasoned, they were an oily, and soggy disappointment. Perhaps a baked potato next time. The service was efficient but some what aloof, however I wasn 't there to make friends. I came to eat. And they fed me. Double P Roadhouse may well be included in our regularly visited places to eat. Its not a tourist place, just simple decor and good food. Edit: The next visit, the ribs were still great and the baked potato (rather than French fries) was also very good. The waitress was much friendlier this time as well."
