"I asked to speak with the manager to express my concerns and spoke with their General Manager, Kirk. He mentioned that our server had removed one of the breakfast bar items due to the wait for water but still insisted on charging me $10 for just a scoop of eggs and a couple of pieces of bacon, claiming it was the "best he could do." When I asked if I could discuss it with their District Manager, he told me he couldn't offer any more free food and that no one had informed him that the breakfast bar was empty. He ultimately told me to "just go, it's fine, just go." I would have expected a manager to ensure everything was running smoothly, yet I saw him wandering around the restaurant without ever checking on the breakfast bar.
I did reach out to corporate and was informed that it was the restaurant's first day open for dining after being closed for over a year, so they were still trying to get things in order. I've been a customer of Frisch's for my entire life and have always enjoyed their food. This location is the closest to my home, but I will not be returning again."
