"I highly recommend Deli 23! I tried the #5 Turkey California Club, which features Dutch Crunch bread, deli-sliced turkey, and I added provolone cheese, bacon, and avocado. It was a hot sandwich with all the tasty fixings. I placed a to-go order and was impressed by the excellent service from the staff. They offer a great selection of bread and condiments, including Dutch rolls, provolone, mayo, yellow mustard, pickles, red onions, jalapeños, super fresh and well-sliced tomatoes, and lettuce. The location is next to the SFGH campus, making it super convenient while I waited for my shuttle bus. Thank you, Deli 23! If you enjoy spice, I definitely recommend adding jalapeños!"

The food is good and the service is great. I like that I can order and pay on my way to the deli.

I've tried about 12 different breakfast sandwiches around potrero and the mission and Deli 23 trumps them all. ? View menu

I've been a fan of this place since I was pregnant with my first child, which was 10 years ago! I can't get enough of their fresh roasted turkey with avocado.

The service was fast, and the sandwiches were excellent. I opted for the hot pastrami on Dutch crunch bread, which was crispy and flavorful. I highly recommend adding their toppings, especially the jalapeños!

Every now and then, I love a GOOD basic deli sandwich. I have been going to Deli 23 lately for lunch and love both the turkey and tuna sandwiches. I'm starting to crave one now as I write this. The bread is always pretty soft, even the dutch crunch which is my favorite. I get it loaded with topping, especially the jalapeno peppers yum. Nice people, fast service and not too expensive. A good lunch spot. View menu

The worst service ever. Stopped by today to grab some breakfast (at 10 Aam) before my pregnancy check in the hospital. Asked a lady to give me a minute to decide what I want when she was rudely told me to do so. Not only she was rude verbally but she definitely has anger issues. Me and my bf were shocked from how angry she was. Working with customers requires to be polite or look for the work you can handle.

EVERYONE there is amazing! They all work 6 days a week and whether its saturday and I have my dogs or early weekday in line with a dozen other hospital workers. The best food! Many veggie and regular options. They make me smile daily even though I only buy a $3 bagel and veggies most days. The prices haven't doubled since COVID which also show the care for customers not just profit. These are some of the many reasons I go to Deli 23 an average of 3-5× a week and Noah's bagels hasn't seen me in ages.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
