The food at this restaurant was disappointing and served cold. We didn’t eat anything because it simply didn’t taste good, and we felt that our $200 was wasted. We were hoping for much better quality.

The food is fantastic! The portions are generous. The guacamole is the best we've ever had! Both the waitress and the chef were incredibly friendly and delightful to interact with. This has quickly become one of our new favorite restaurants!

I have been dining at Don Luis for years, and in my opinion, it’s the best restaurant in town. Luis works his magic with a unique flair that guarantees you won’t be disappointed, no matter what you order. Carmen is a joy to be around and truly enhances the experience. It feels like everyone there is part of one big family.

Our top choice for date night! We really enjoy the carnitas enchiladas and carnitas street tacos. The pork is juicy and packed with flavor, making it hard to find anything better. The portion sizes are generous, often leaving us with leftovers depending on how hungry we are. The service is excellent, and the overall experience is consistently enjoyable.

This restaurant used to be full of charm and offered high-quality dishes. However, the recent renovations to both the space and the menu have taken away its unique character and appeal. The ambiance now feels generic and lacking, with excessively bright lighting that spoils the atmosphere. The food has become uninspired and straightforward. My friends and I used to love coming here, but we've all decided not to return. It's truly disappointing.

I've been visiting Don Luis for ten years, and although it's been a while since I left Billings, it's wonderful to see that some things haven't changed. The warm welcome and quick seating were still there. Our waitress was lovely, and the vibrant atmosphere remained authentic. You can really sense that the staff feels like family and works together seamlessly. And of course, the food was five stars! The ingredients were fresh, and the meals were absolutely delicious. We were greeted promptly and seated right away. To start, we ordered the chips with a trio of dips: creamy hot queso, fresh guacamole, and zesty salsa. Each person at our table chose something different, and everyone was delighted with their selections. I ordered the chili relleno entrée, which I use as my benchmark for evaluating a Mexican restaurant. Don Luis did not let me down.
