"Atmosphere and live music was nice downstairs. Food was pretty good and menu was dense which was nice. Waitstaff was really a bad experience and worth commenting on for people with allergies-we had a severe allergy in the group and of all the places I?veeaten in Pinehurst, the response from our waitress was less than helpful and her only attempt at accommodating was telling us toorder the vegetarian salad. A little more effort would have gone a long way. *in response to owner: pretty pathetic response.Your waitstaff should know the menu front to back especially when peoples health is in play. In addition, if they don?t know, the appropriate response would be to just go and ask the chef for advice or for the chef to come out. In the same way you tellme the waitress can?t cook, I can?t go in the kitchen to track down your chef. Why don?t you take a little constructivecriticism from your bad reviews rather than bashing the patrons? Now I won?t be back at all."

Guinness is great. The bar delicate, Rob (I think) makes a perfect casting. Service by Chrissy was wonderful. The food was great.

My friend and I stopped in to Dugans for dinner which in Pinehurst during a girls spa weekend. We had a great experience. The bar tender and servers were very friendly. The drinks were delicious.

My husband enjoyed one crab cake and I had the other, very tasty and one was plenty for one person. He then had the hamburger and I had the breaded shrimp, both very good although I wd hv liked less breading. View menu

Pub soup/stew was creamy and topped with a lot of cheese and bacon. I did not try them but the french fries looked really good. Crispy. The potato salad is amazing. They took the proper amount of time to pour my Guinness and it was very good. Service is fast and friendly. I will be back.

Great Irish pub atmosphere. Super fun staff. Great service. Food was made fresh, which was very tasty. If you're looking to feel as if you're in Dublin this is not the place. Everything is kinda Irishy-American. With mild visits to Irish beers and food. If you're looking for a super cozy place to have good drinks and great food. Then make your way here. You won't be disappointed.

The bartender was clearly busy, and despite our being patient and waiting for service, she was unnecessarily rude and curt. We left. We are new to the area and this will be our first and last visit to this pub. _________________ You clearly did notreview the correct footage. We asked the hostess if we could sit at the bar and she said yes.....we never sat at a table. Ithought we waited very patiently for somebody to acknowledge our presence. We are not Irish and had no idea that Sangria was a party foul at an Irish pub. Regardless...your bartender was rude , unwelcoming, and her tone was one of disgust. Sorry youwere busy....but that is not our fault. My relatives have been in Pinehurst for... View menu

"Excellent food and service, with a menu that changes based on the freshest ingredients available in season. The price point is high but it 's worth it. I 'm a Charlotte resident who drives up to the Sandhills to visit family, and this restaurant competes with any of the farm to table style restaurants in the big city. We went for the whole gambit of appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Portion sizes are generous, but not overwhelming. I would order anything that is based around what 's in season. Highlights in the appetizers were a peach and fig burrata, crab hush puppies, and the tuna tartar. Entree wise they have a wide variety of seafood and meat preps, but the highlights for us were the lamb wellington and halibut special, which honestly we could have shared between the four of us. Dessert wise we had a seasonal peach cake with ice cream, and a sticky toffee bun also with ice cream. Both were light and delicious to finish off the meal. Our service from Josh our server was excellent and efficient. Unprompted he immediately assisted getting my 90 year old grandma into her seat, and then went straight into getting our drinks and telling us the specials. All the food came out fresh and well timed, and Josh consistently checked on us without being overbearing. I would say for new comers that you could make an entire meal for the table just sharing appetizers and one or two entrees, and you all would leave happy."
