"Been looking for a coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere and most importantly good coffee to enjoy with my fiance. We found both here. I got the Snoopy, a tasty coffee drink with strong white chocolate and vanilla notes, hot chocolate, and two breakfast croissants. The croissants were large enough to be satisfying, but not to much to be super heavy first thing in the morning. They were flaky high quality croissants. However, my finance didn't like the ham that came on them and gave hers to me, which I ate. After asking for another one and explaining the situation, and fully prepared to buy another, they gave me a croissant with sausage free of charge. I was floored and touched. The staff are so nice, the customer base is pleasant as well. I've found my new favorite coffee shop. "I have written well over 1000 reviews, and have very rarely rated a restaurant 1-star, but this restaurant earned this review. Customer Service is one of the most important parts of a dining experience, and I would give a zero for Customer Service. We had a large partner, and were seated rather quickly. Half of our partner received there order, while another 1/3 of our party waited over 15 minutes to receive their order, and the remainder of our party waited another 5 minutes. I ordered the all-you-can-eat fried chicken, since it was one of the specialities. My order was the last received. One of the members of my party ordered the brisket, and they were very unpleased. I tasted the brisket, it was very dry, tough and drenched in BBQ sauce. Eleven members were in my party, our server never offered a drink refill to anyone. I asked for a refill twice, for her to finally provide me with a refill. The sides I ordered were good, when I asked for another piece of chicken, I was informed they didn’t have the portion of chicken I requested. I was very disappointed with this dining experience, and would never return."

"I kept hearing wonderful things about this place but sadly was dissatisfied and disappointed the staff was wonderful. Incredibly nice and courteous the place looked like a nice play to hangout with friends or family. The food on the other hand was very mid. Overcooked. Dry. They dumped tons of bbq sauce on the burnt ends yet it tasted like a pot roast a child would have made me. Flat creek has much better for the same price. But if you don’t mind a drive I would highly suggest getting basted in nixa if you’re looking for that delicious mouth watering meats you imagine when you pull up to a bbq joint sadly republic is nothing but disgusting fast food and the few restaurants besides flat creek are just not that good and way over priced save your money take the extra couple min drive out to somewhere nice this place isn’t horrible just very average and for the price I think you expect something a little above average. For reference I tried practically everything except for the wings"

"We’ve ordered here so many times but recently they have started messing up orders almost every time. On this last order my husband called to have it fixed and resolved. They sent us the completely wrong meal, forgot the drink, and didn’t include any ranch. We asked that they remake the meal and either refund that 1 meal or give us a credit towards the next order. (My husband had to drive 25 minutes back into town to get the correct order) the manager said he could not do a refund but would remake the meal. My husband explained that half of the frustration comes from having to drive all the way back to republic and the manager just said he couldn’t help with anything else. After multiple mess ups on orders and them not caring to fix it the ONE time we do call and ask for it to be fixed we will not be going back. We felt the customer service spoke volumes. We previously ordered from them about once every 2 weeks or so."

"I walked into the restaurant for the first time and was disappointed by the lack of greeting from the three staff members behind the counter. Unsure of the ordering process, I stood there waiting, but they didn’t even make eye contact with me. They took the order of the person behind me in line first, and I wondered if I should have said something. To make matters worse, they allowed the customer behind me to step up and let their non-service dog jump up and put its paws on the counter, twice, without saying a word. Allowing an animal in a food service establishment is already questionable, but having it place its paws on the counter with its tongue hanging out is just too much for me. Surely there are health codes or at least common sense guidelines that should prevent this situation. It's a shame because the coffee is quite good."
