"My husband and I came here for lunch a little after open. No line at all, which was great. Two workers at the front counter didn 't say hi or acknowledge us; they simply turned their backs to finish their conversation. When ordering, I had a couple questions. The cashier simply pointed to the paper menu on the counter and said, These are your choices. Very blunt. After we finished ordering, we waited a couple minutes, got our food quickly. The food? It was fine it wasn 't good, it wasn 't distasteful. Rolls were delicious, as always. My spicy chicken tenders had minimal heat. Chicken was fresh. My barbecue beans were a little runny, tasted excessively of ketchup vinegar, almost no seasoning. Mashed potatoes were basic. I was disappointed to find out their ranch wasn 't house made, especially being a local fried chicken joint. In addition, the price of the food made it just bearable, yet I won 't be coming back to this location. I don 't know if we just came on a bad day or what, but this place needs to get their act together."

Took my fiance here since I'd stumbled onto one of their food trucks a week or so. We each ordered half pound of tenders and they were delicious! Perfect amount, and fries so clean and that roll is just divine.

I'd been craving fried okra so happy I found this spot. Make sure to order a dipping sauce or something on the side. Tasty chicken, tasty mac, tasty dinner rolls. You can't go wrong with fried chicken and hot sauce <3

The chicken tenders were extremely thin and overly crispy. It seemed like the person preparing the order didn’t pay attention to how it would taste. The sweet potato pie was lumpy, and the crust was undercooked. Overall, it was a disappointing meal today.

The chicken appeared to be freshly cooked, with crispy skin and juicy meat that was seasoned just right. The coleslaw and potato salad were quite good and also flavorful. The peach cobbler was decent, although it would have been much better if it had been made fresh. View menu

All the 5 stars rating, ya'll tripping. If anyone wants fried chicken that is unflavored, this is the right place for you! I spend almost 35 bucks for some unflavored, bland chicken that tastes like it just came out of some boiled water with no seasoning. Not even salt. The mashed potatoes had so much black pepper and the gravy, oh no.

First-time having Ezell's Chicken. I am now a big fan. The Spicy Chicken could gave been spicier, but was otherwise great. The rolls are fantastic! The waitstaff members are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. They did a good job cleaning up after customers and the restaurant was tidy and clean. Overall a great place for tastee chicken, sides (the mashed potatoes and gravy and slaw were delicious), and rolls.

It was amazing as usual! I always order the 1 lb. Tender Combo with half spicy and half original, because it’s simply the best. I enjoyed it with my brother, and it was his first time trying Ezell's. He was so impressed that he had to Google the restaurant while eating to find out more about them right away. The honey mustard is really something special. The only downside was the homemade brown gravy, which had no flavor at all—it tasted like water, which was really strange. View menu

They cannot seem to get it right. I have one simple request each time I visit. WELL DONE french fries. They always come out WHITE I also inform them it is for HERE, do NOT put in in a bag or cover them with a lid. Please leave them open to air, so they do not get soggy This often is overlooked. But most of all MAKE them some shade of BROWN! On the other hand the staff are hard workers and always pleasant. These french fries are with a soda and tip and tax come to nearly $12. Why would I want to return? The management has asked that I reach out to them which I have twice without a reply from them. Management isn’t serious here they reach out to you and ask you to email them but yet there’s ne...

So disappointing to say the least. I just ordered less than 1 hour ago. The service was great but the food is terrible. I had chicken tenders. Some were so dry they just bent and could barely rip apart and tasted rubbery. The sauces were nothing special and the sides I had was corn, Mac and cheese, and regular fries. Fries had no salt, corn tasted straight from a can and the mac and cheese, flavorless just like the chicken The rolls was the best part but didn't male up for the rest of the disappointing meal. Needless to say I tried it and will never be back. And let me just say with the cost of food lately you would think the quality could be better for the price. Could have gotten a better...

"Decently maintained establishment with quick service, excellent hospitality, and large entrees which complimented the pricing.Opinion:Initially, I was skeptical about the establishment due to the higher prices for simple dishes. My sentiment didn't get much better after I left to wash my hands and noticed that a portion of the men's restroom was used as a storage or closet space. Also that the lighting appeared dim giving it an odd vibe.Returning to the table, we decided to over order since we were unsure of the portions and were afraid that food would be grossly overpriced, but to our shock, the food arrived extremely fast and the portions were well worth the pricing.Everything that we ordered tasted great, my only qualms were that (1) my poke bowl had too much lettuce and onions which I couldn't help but to think was to simply fill the bowl, (2) that the poke bowl probably should've come with a side of seaweed salad instead of lettuce salad since it already came with a healthy portion of it, and (3) that most menu items came with krab meat, or imitation crab, which is a bit of a turn off since it seems to lack authenticity. The breakdown of each category is as follows...Atmosphere:Excellent design and layout. The artwork, music, and aesthetics made for a very welcoming environment and complemented the style very nicely. Though, I do feel like the restrooms are due for an upgrade in lighting and style.Service:The staff was friendly, warm, and very aware of the needs of the customer. If we ever finished an item then they were there to clear the table of empty dishes without disrupting our meal.Food:Though the food may appear pricey, it's actually reasonable given the large quantity of meat that you are given in each roll. Don't be offset by the words 2 pieces in reference to the quantity of meat in each roll their two pieces are large, trust me on that one. To reiterate, we over ordered due to not understanding that the prices are high because they are double the portions that you would get anywhere else.I do feel like they tried to fluff up the poke bowl with lettuce, which was a bummer, but it did still have quite a bit of salmon in it, so I wasn't too upset. Also, I must note the food arrives extremely fast which is a huge bonus.Overall:It's a nice establishment, but the menu items aren't something that I will want to revisit often. I'll give it 4 stars since the food and service made up for the price, but I would like to see the few adjustments mentioned in my review before I ever think about a 5 star. But, with that said, I would still recommend Koharu to anyone who asks for a solid Japanese restaurant in the area."
