"Let me give you the ONLY review worth looking at. Firehouse subs has so much going for it in the sandwich chain. The bread of the subs is unlike any other. The soft density and hint of surprising sweetness is breathtaking and works extremely well. The meats are fresh and delicious. Not to mention the tomatoes and lettuce really bring it all together and makes the taste profile unmatchable by any of sun food chain. And if you’re a mustard guy, you’re in luck. Firehouse subs has possibly the best mustard on the market as of now. Take this from a serious sub chain connoisseur, firehouse subs is THE BEST sub chain in the world. My personal favorite sub: The Hook and Ladder: The way the hot meats mix with the softness of the bread, and the moisturizing element that the mustard brings is simply delightful. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS ILLUSTRIOUS ESTABLISHMENT.Thank You."

Very good sub shop. Only issue is that their toaster was broken so menu was limited to cold

The food is great, and the service is quick. The staff is friendly, but they often forget my extra pickle, even though they still charge me for it. View menu

Service was extremely slow for only 3 patrons total in the store. Mens bathroom had no soap in the dispenser. None of the crew members were friendly and the food was cold.

The owner of this place needs to fire the idiot who thought it was funny to act like he had an intellectual disability. I walked in there and he had a firefighter hat split in half...looked like Cartman from South Park when he played in the special Olympics. You may be big boned, sir, but you are no Eric Cartman.

The brisket sandwich is fantastic, but at nearly $40 for two meals, it certainly should be. I’m taking away one star for the value, another for having Fox News playing, and a third for the TV volume being painfully loud. It would be nice to have local news, the weather channel, or something less divisive on instead. View menu

This was located near the campus of Northern Kentucky University. Never had Firehouse Sub. I was very pleased with my choices. 1. To eat here and 2. Having the meatball sub. Clean dining hall and bathrooms. Staff was working hard and was very friendly. The sub was delicious. I will definitely eat at another Firehouse Sub.

I really enjoy Firehouse Subs but I always feel like it’s hit or miss. I purchased two large sandwiches which is 30 dollars, I live just 5 minutes away and when I got home our food was very cold. Not just cooled off, cold. I just felt like an inconvenience for even walking in and the open sign was off so I’m assuming that was what they were going for. Probably won’t spend the money again

"Upon our arrival, the hostess guided us to our table and provided us with menus. Many tables were busy with diners. The food was very good, but the service left something to be desired. We noticed that only two servers were managing all the occupied tables, which made it difficult for them to keep up. For instance, I had to ask our server, Vanessa, to refill my empty drink, even though she passed by our table numerous times. Additionally, my dessert arrived without certain components that were listed on the menu, and the missing items were not explained to us. At the end of March 2022, we observed that none of the staff were wearing face masks, and while some male patrons donned masks as they entered and exited the restaurant, most did not. We entered the restaurant wearing masks and kept them on until we were seated. When we inquired whether wearing masks had an effect on our service, the server came over to take our drink orders. I requested an unsweetened iced tea, while my wife ordered hot tea. Unfortunately, her tea arrived as a cup of hot water rather than a small teapot. We began our meal with an appetizer called Pepperoni Rossi alla Griglia, featuring house-roasted red peppers with garlic and extra virgin olive oil, served chilled with a piece of bread. We each enjoyed a serving of wedding soup with our bread. For our main course, we ordered the Quattro Stagioni Pizza, which has a margherita base (tomato and mozzarella cheese) topped with sausage, artichokes, and roasted red pepper slices. It was delicious! The sausage was mild, and my wife enjoyed her meal so much that she took some leftovers home for dessert. I added a few red pepper flakes from the table to give my pizza a bit more heat, and I finished my pizza at the restaurant because we truly enjoyed it. For dessert, my wife chose the Napolean Limone, which she paired with a glass of wine. It was fantastic! The Napolean Limone consists of homemade lemon puff pastries topped with whipped cream and raspberry sauce. I opted for the Toni Spumoni, which the menu claims is the best in the country. However, while my dessert included the spumoni ice cream, it did not come with the whipped cream and candied cherries as promised. I was disappointed as it did not live up to its reputation. Overall, the food was good, and the atmosphere and decor were lovely. The restaurant is very clean, with two unisex restrooms— the one I used was well-maintained. I believe the service could significantly improve with a few more servers, especially when the restaurant is nearly full, although I understand that business varies. Next time, we may just opt for takeout pizza instead of dining in, as we feel the table service could be more reliable."
