"I have been to this franchise many times since it opened a few years ago. I was so happy to get a Firehouse on my side of town. My sub of choice is the Italian and that’s what I had this time. My companion had a Firehouse Hero. Both were excellent, but missing something. They were out of tomatoes didn’t tell us. Out of napkins too. Aside from these stocking issues, it was a great experience, as usual. Clean dining room single stall restrooms. Coke 360 fountain drink machine. Decent selection of chips. Free parking. No complaints."

I came in for a take out order on 4/17/24 around 2:45pm. The lady that took my order was nice. I only waited maybe 3-5 minutes for my two sub order. Order was correct t and tasted very good. I enjoyed my experience.

Found a hair in sub, took it back up to the counter and showed them. The guy said sorry would you like another one. Said no thanks. Didn't offer money back or anything. We've been eating there every Sunday, but not anymore. Such rude people. View menu

This was the worst sub that I've ever got from a Firehouse subs! I spent $15 on this loaf of bread. It was thirty minutes plus to get my sub even after ordering online. I will not be back to this store. I would recommend Jersey Mike's or Apollo Flame before going through this again!

Great location, try it out the new garlic pepperoni meatball sub, definitely worth it! District manager was actually on duty running the front lines which was awesome to see. It's always Great to see management participating in the tasks the staff has to do. It keeps their expectations realistic and keeps them grounded in what will actually help their staff.

Just wanted to write a little anonymous review Got food poisoning from one of their turkey subs (just the basic Turkey sandwich and I’m 100% sure it was the sandwich! Clearly someone over there doesn’t know how to tell if meat has gone bad or they don’t know how to clean properly! Don’t eat there unless you want to vomit every 5-10 mins (not exaggerating! for a few days straight!! View menu

Disappointing Firehouse Subs location. Visiting Asheville please be sure to look for another dining spot for lunch. We waited 20 minutes for our sandwiches. They were put together so sloppy and mine was made w TWO bottom hoagie pieces, all onions, no condiments. They only had small cups for the lunch combos. They get two stars for cleanliness. Otherwise, this was a very subpar experience and we will not be returning.

Walked in no one around. The one person behind counter looks at me walks in the back. I wait for 5 minutes started to wonder what's taking so long. So I go to the door of the back area and ask if they are open. Someone says yes just a moment. I go back to counter and wait for another five minutes until I lost my patience and walked out. Bad service employees seemed more interested in their phones than tenting to customers. I don't think I'll go back to that location.

"Hole in the wall or Hidden Gem for Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Asheville Nestled in the vibrant culinary scene of Asheville, North Carolina, El Que Pasa stands out as a delightful destination for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a clean, well-kept interior that sets the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The first thing I noticed was how genuinely welcoming the staff were. I was greeted with smiles all around, which immediately made me feel at home. Shortly after being seated, my waitress promptly took my drink order and within moments, I was served with a basket of fresh tortilla chips and salsa. One unique highlight that truly adds value to the experience is their salsa bar . It’s not just your run-of-the-mill selection; this bar featured about eight handcrafted salsas, each with its own unique flavor profile. Whether you’re a fan of mild, tangy salsas or crave a spicy kick, there’s something for everyone. This kind of attention to detail in offering a variety of salsas is a testament to their commitment to providing an authentic Mexican dining experience. For my meal, I ordered the steak fajitas, paired with their house special margarita. The sizzle of the fajitas as they were brought to the table instantly got my taste buds going. The steak was cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. The accompanying peppers and onions were fresh and added a nice balance to the dish. But what truly impressed me was the authenticity of the flavors. It’s clear that El Que Pasa takes pride in delivering a genuine Mexican dining experience, and they don’t cut corners when it comes to the quality of their ingredients. As for the margarita, it was simply a 10/10. The blend was perfectly balanced – not overly sweet, with just the right amount of tequila and a fresh citrus finish. It complemented my meal perfectly and added to the overall satisfaction of the evening. El Que Pasa offers much more than just a meal; it provides an experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Asheville, this restaurant is worth a visit. The combination of friendly service, an expansive salsa bar, and mouth-watering dishes makes it a standout choice for Mexican cuisine in the area. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, and this time, I’ll be bringing my family along to share in the great food and warm atmosphere. If you’re searching for authentic Mexican flavors in Asheville with a welcoming vibe and top-notch service, El Que Pasa should be at the top of your list. Five stars all the way!"
