"The service here is not it. I'm not blaming anyone in particular but the execution is just terrible. We got here as a party of four at 8 pm and was told there would be a wait of 20-30 minutes. We waited for around 30 minutes, seeing very clearly that only 20% of the booths were actually filled and wondering if they forgot about us. As we were about to leave our hostess tells us our table is ready and we decide to give them another chance. Mistakes were made.. first they sat us in a booth that was being held together by duct tape. Given only a small portion of the seats were filled, they could have sat us anywhere so we asked to be moved since most parties were placed pretty close to each other. When we ordered our food, which took another 10 minutes to obtain the actual bowl to fill it up with ingredients, we were asked to pick two bases; assortments of various noodles and rices. They told us they ran out of fried rice; I expected as much based off the way things were looking. After we filled our bowls and dropped them off, it took more than an hour for them to cook our food. Since it's a hibachi type place, you can see them cooking the food- I understand there are labor shortages but it looked painfully slow. As in, we sat down at 8:30 and by 9 pm our food still wasn't cooked yet. It's maybe 9:10 and our waitress comes to tell us our food is up next to cook. Hope! 5 minutes later she comes back to us regretfully informing us they ran out of ALL rice (white, brown, fried) and that the only bases were now udon and cabbage. At this point we're over it but we've waited too long so we're going to continue waiting. The place closes at 10. We get our food at 9:30, down it in 10 min, and go home. My food tasted good I suppose, but it seemed a tad burnt. The entire process was a mess and I wish they would just tell us what wait times for everything are upfront just to set expectations. I honestly feel bad for the staff having to relay this information, and the one cook that was cheffing all of it because it's not easy but god help this restaurant. Seriously."
