"The breakfast was fantastic! There were some surprisingly creative breakfast options. The pancakes were incredible, and as someone who is usually picky about coffee, I was very pleased with theirs. My partner ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, which exceeded our expectations. We didn’t try them ourselves, but we noticed that the tiny biscuit sandwiches with various fillings looked delicious. I highly recommend this place! My only suggestion for the owners is to minimize waste as much as possible. For instance, instead of serving syrup in a plastic container, it could be offered in a dispenser. Also, it would be great to avoid using disposable plastic for milk and butter. That's all!"

we were only on the way for a trip and came across this place. on the first look it didn't look like a high quality facility. I was seriously surprised, though, how friendly the staff was, how fast they tasted our food for us and how amazing our food! looks as if they were fooling people who are surely the case here. well done hometown eatery! It's a very small place but the food was good all around for 10 people. It's and older style place and definitely a home town spot. Nothing crazy special about the place or food. Just good food aimed at a small town. Worth a stop if you're passing through and your hungry. I'll be eating here just about every time I'm in town. Was clean and the prices are really good. The bill was under around $86 for 10 people.

Finally tried Hometown Eatery for takeout on Friday night, and glad we did. The fish fry dinner was AMAZING. Some of the most perfectly fried fish either of us have had. I also got the hot roast beef and gravy sandwich, also delicious. Happy to have a great place to eat with friendly staff so close to home. Will definitely be eating there again, and can’t wait to try them for breakfast one day. Very fairly priced, good sized portions, and great food can’t ask for much more.
